Footwear for squats & deads

what kind of footwear is best used when performing these exercises? im not looking for anything special if i dont need it. actually i normally train with my slip on vans

are you serious? i wore them because i wanted to feel most natural, i dont use any wrist wraps, straps, knee wraps, belts, suits, shirts, etc. i only use chalk. i need to get some new ones as i wore them out

I'm using addidas wrestling shoes and they work great. Heard alot of good about converse chuck taylors 2. Suppose any type of wrestling shoe/think soled shoe would work well.

barefoot...well just socks...i tired this a couple times and kinda like the feel i get...wierd enough..it feels like im gripping the floor more and i feel more stable...

some guy came over to me in the gym and said i cant believe youre dquatting in chucks..i was like hell yeah besdt shoe to squat in other than moccs
