Funny Story, You might enjoy..

SO i was at my college gym Monday (SO MANY BEAUTIFUL GIRLS) anyways not the point..

I'm doing bench on Monday, sets of 250lbs nothing serious, although quite a lot considering the clowns at my school. Anyways this trio of guys start on the rack next to me. The one guy is moderately built and i use moderate generously and his two douche friends couldn't be over 150lbs..

Anyways the circus leader instructs his two friends to load 315lbs on the bench, he has more weight on than me so I'm naturally curious to see whats going to happen next. I couldn't believe it....

He does two 1/4 reps, like the slightest bend in the elbows and I'm thinking to myself... THIS CLOWN... anyways it gets better.... He racks the weights and immediately takes all the weight off and puts 2 25lbs plates on the bar (total 50lbs plus bar) and proceeds to max out his reps..

i was just in awe of his stupidity. I sat there for like 5 minutes just staring at them in amazement, it was comical..

that is all.
good bye

In before Matt071 jokes. :rockband:

I've been seeing retards do that since I started lifting in the 80's haha. Good thing you didn't try to correct them either, most of them are know-it-all kids and think they're going to grow like that. It's even more comical when they talk about their dbol dosages in a public gym while doing that - all I can do is turn my volume up on my mp3 player and shake my head. :p

haha i do that too. also squat days are my favorite considering only three or four other people do squats in my gym. whenever i see some people that can only do 225 squats i smh...

yup I know a guy like that too (a few actually) but the main one stands apart from the others, he brags on how he can bench 2 plates (225lbs) and squat 3 plates (315lbs) but only goes a few inches down on both exercises, shakes like a leaf as soon as he unracks the weight. he weights maybe 130lbs soaked and complains all the time on why he doesn't grow.

I love squating, i do 5 reps at 405lbs for 5 sets.. everyone gets big eyes. Im like yeah bitches, go do biceps more..

LMAO good one...

I see idiots all the time at the gym(especially this time of the year, the new years resolution squad)

Yesterday I saw a guy(newbie I never seen before) pick up a 35 pound dumbbell and starting swinging it in circles clockwise...I was not sure if he was doing a shoulder workout, or trying to knock someone out behind him, or trying to pop his shoulder out of his socket....he actually did 3 sets of this...on each side

I used to feel inclined to help these douche bags that do that kind of stuff but after the first one looked at me stupid and tried to explain how his way was better. Now I just smile to myself and shake my head.... Fuckers

lol I love watching people like this when they think they know it all. All they are doing is making a fool out of there selves.

Lol see this all the time. What I hate even more is when these guys come to the gym in packs of 5 and use a machine for 45mins cause they do 1 set and talk for ten minutes. Then when you ask them if you could alternate cause their taking to long and they give you attitude. That's where my tren kicks in and I go from good guy to ROID RAGE in .5 seconds lol

I look at no one ,talk to no one and dont give a fuckabout whose around me in the gym..im in a zone and there for 1 reason..get my shit in and get the hell outta there...if there happens to be a group of skinny queers hogging a machine i dont even thik twice about cutting in and getting my sets in...i usually dont get much from them when i do this :)

Who cares. Let them do what they want. You bench 250, for all intents and purpose you're in the same boat as them anyway. Live and let live... ridiculous.

:owned: this is too true, op im assuming ur also juicing since ur on this site, if they dropped the weight, they could bench as much as you can if not slightly more... the real difference between you and that "clown" is that hes not afraid to try and lift more weights then he can do while you'll be stuck on 250 for a long ass time

Actually i've had reconstructive surgery on both shoulders. SMD

And i said i was doing 250 at the time. Did i say i stopped there or that's my max? it was just something i thought was funny.

Secondly im not a bodybuilder, im an athlete. Whats your 40yr dash time? i run a 4.42. How fast can you run a mile. i do mine in 5:25 secs. Not everything is about lifting has heavy as you can. Dont be ignorant. there is more than just one reason for using gear.

Exactly, look at lance armstrong coming out about steroids and that guy basically looks like a Holocaust victim (or a stick)

Wow, this thread turned around fast. If anyone seriously sees kids doing shit wrong, that doesn't bug you at all? I don't think the weight we're pushing is relevant at all, but the fact that we're doing it with proper form and technique does. I don't stare at every Tom, Dick and Harry coming into the gym to make sure that they are doing their lifts properly, but when some asshat sees me lifting and wants to flop his poser butt down next to me to see if he can lift as much as I can, it's comical.

Hell, I had one kid seriously hurt himself back when I was into power lifting and he tried to match me doing 700lb+ deadlifts. I almost feel responsible being one of the more experienced guys to make sure they don't get hurt. If it wasn't for that damn smart ass attitude kids these days have now, I'd probably try to help them more. (No, I'm not bragging about weight either, just felt it was relevant to the discussion.)

My .02c :p
