German volume training

i usually train very heavy for trying to gain overall size...does anyone think 10 sets of 10 would be benefical for gaining mass..it would be a huge switch for me...if anyone has ever used this method and had good results please let me know...i am not looking from strentgh, just more size...

to make muscle in training u need, one thing, intensity. every one different. you have to find what set range, rep range, makes you go to the next level...
some people can rep out 140kgs for 12 rep. but you add 10 or 20kg, they get 2 or 3 reps. there range is higher...

Well, I've used Volume style training but never GVT in it's strictest form but I can tell you this.... Out of all the different methods (including heavy weight/low reps, etc..) the thing that worked best for my body (in gaining lots of lean/sculpted body MASS) is volume with high intensity moderate-heavy weight and GOING TO FAILURE!! Wow, it was like day and night when I finally perfected my routine. Expirement with going to failure and using drop sets/rest-pause. If your body/joints can handle it, the rewards are great!
 
jay. thanks for the advice...i have always done low rep and had decent gains but i think i am goin to switch to moderate weight and more reps for alot more volume...and as for drugs i am not ready for that yet...22 is a bit 2 young i think for Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) use...i want to hold out as long as i can and as long as i am making gains...
