Hey guys as Im getting everything geared up for my first cycle there's one thing i cant seem to decide on and that is what kind of routine i should be following.
Im going to be doing a test e only cycle at 500mg per week 250 mon and 250 thurs. as far as some stats ima try to keep it short but include all the info.
lifting for about 2 years with sub par results. no were near id hoped id be but still pushing. ive been doing a 3 days split. push pull leg. ive been feeling it reaching a plateau so id like to start something fresh right when i start my cycle and came across germen volume training. would this be a good program to follow while on a cycle? seems really intense.

Im currently 188 lbs, 5'8 and at about 25 perecnt bf. i know too high for a cycle . ima take kingcrane's advice and start busting my ass on some cardio.
Diet is about 200 grams of protein, 250 grams carbs, 3000calories and about 90 grams efa's perday. anyway any and all advice is greatly appreciated and feel free to be brutaly honest. i can take it just really needing help. tired of not seeing the gains after busting my ass day after day in the gym and really want to approach my first cycle the right way. sorry to rant just getting frustrated with not seeing the gains im wanting. one other program i came across was neil hills y3t but looks very intense not sure if its for a more advanced lifter. thanks and happy new year.

Have you tried the 5x5 system? Ive been running it for over a month now and im seeing the results other routines didnt give me. Theres a thread on here about i if you havent heard about it

yea ive heard of 5x5 , never really checked it out. ill read up on it open to any new good routines. i never even thought of that one.

5x5 works for me. I know ive looked at the german volume routine and it looks solid also. I kmow i'll be trying it one day. Ive read on the wendler 531 and it will be a routine i try sometime this year also

yea i think thats a key thing is to mix it up. there's alot of options out there. that y3t looks insane.

I checked it out. It doesnt look bad. The more compound movements the better. Any of these should work. Just have a good steady diet and stick with your routine for a few months and hit it hard bro. Youll get what you put in it.

I only did it ocne for about a mounth last year just to really shock my body. I lifted hard and heavy for four+ years low rep lots of vol. but last year I was to a point that no matter how much I ate and how heavy I lifted I wasent growing or getting much stronger and my work outs were getting kinda stale. I dont buy in to all these Fad Workout that people print off the computer either. I lift hard and target everything, work by body groups and find week piont and build them till I can find more weak piont training to work on. But as far as my one mounth of Germen Vol. training went I kicked my ass! I'v been lifting a long time and It takes a lot to get me sore even training to failour and doing foursed reps after that, and that was nothing compared to the deep muscle soreness and the pump of doing germen vol. training. So yes it do work if you have the right vol and are a mental giant that can push your self through the pain and dig even deeper and do a few more until theres no way you can get the reps in and hold any good form. Then get up punch the wall yell at your self in the mirror and sprint back and hammer out more sets. Than you'll grow.
