Getting back into proportion

I have always had massive arms in comparison to the rest of my body. It's not the way I train as I only train arms once per week and the rest is main muscle groups. I believe this is genetic as my dad, now almost 50, still has the arms of a 20 year old even though he hasn't touched a weight in years. My problem now is that my arms look considerably out of proportion to the other muscle groups in my body, and I want to either-

1. Bring them down in size without losing strength or
2. Bring up my other muscles without gaining any size on my arms.

Any suggestions?

you said you only work them once a week, probably why they're big! everyone thinks you gotta have an arm day or hit em twice a week. more is not better. they're getting hit on back and chest day, stop doing an arm day. really now way to make them smaller, just keep hitting back and chest heavy to bring up the rest of your body bro. and as you said it is probably genetics, so not much you can do man. be glad you have big arms

To take your bis out of back day (and further isolate your back) I've found using straps to be pretty effective! I've got decent arms and I don't normally give them their own day. They get plenty from back and chest but I found I can take bis out a bit by utilizing straps.
