Getting off Winstrol

Is it ok to just quit taking Winstrol. I slowed down at the end towards my show but i want off now. Im going to train as long as i can to see what results i can get before my next show since its 8 months away. Do you usually get side effects? I know i seem to handle things pretty well and have been off for about 5 days now, not noticing anything. I think i want to try Anavar next time, any suggestions how long to start that before a show??

If you are planning on running anavar you should base the length of your cycle on how far away your show is. It is highly recommended that you stop all drugs about 2 weeks out from a show, to ensure that you drop any water you've been holding.
I honestly don't think it's a problem to "just stop" taking win; i've never heard of anyone "tapering" off or anything like that, so you should be fine.
good luck!

If you were taking female doses, there is no point in tapering your dose.

It's always good to take some time off to let your body readjust and get its natural hormones working properly again.

Thanks for the info. I will just stay off for now and see how i am in the next week. If i feel like im ready to go again then ill hard core it for one week and do the show on the 24th.

easto i luv ya, but tapering off certain androgens as a female can be very beneficial for many reasons even if we are on "female doses". Any introduction of an androgen into the female system will cause a disruptance and our hormones are so easily unbalanced that the slight adjustment to them can throw everything into a spin... using a taper allows the hormones to gradually return to "normal" rather than just dropping the androgen... an immediate stop of androgen can cause an estrogen rebound. When we take an androgen our estrogen gets suppressed as our test levels have been increased... so if you taper the androgen, you allow the estrogen to gradually increase with less side effects and less to no rebound. I highly recommend a taper if a woman is on a longer duration of aas, or ones that have a bit higher androgen vs anabolic ratio. Another thing i have noticed with a taper is better "emotional" and mood control... so if rebounding is not a concern, with many women, the emotions ARE a major concern. I personally have experienced severe depression from NOT tapering anavar... With a taper my moods are more controlled and less erratic. Also post cycle therapy (pct) for women may be necessary, even though that is "taboo" according to most men... But when i say post cycle therapy (pct) i am referring to otc supplements like st. johns wart, valerian root, dandelion root, 5-htp, etc... it does help.

Glad to see you posting though ;) you know you are ALWAYS welcome to chime in here!!! xoxox
