Getting rid of pinz

How does one properly dispose of pinz once u get done using them? Do u guys just throw it in a bottle and throw it away. I'm just curious since i have rarely seen it discussed here

any replys would be helpful

I throw mine in an empty bleach bottle and then toss it in the biohazard container on campus when full.

You can buy a proper disposel bin at get pinz, as well you can go to most pharmacies and they will take care of them I have heard.

i get yellow sharps containers and hand them to the hospital to dispose of, they dont know if you have diabetc problems

Throw mine in the dumpster inside of something right after use. I figure its just helping the feds if you ever get busted to have used pinz laying around. Trash never comes in contact with people, and test isn't a biohazard so why not?

Bring them to a hospital and they will get rid of them for you. They burn all their biohazardous waste, so what's an extra hundred pins for them to burn????

Or put them in an old protein bucket and seal it really well with tape and toss it in the garbage.

Obviously option#1 would be the best way to do it.

I give mine to a local druggie clinic. I don't care what's inside, or how you came in contact with it, NO-ONE wants to uncover a used syringe, it's probably ppl's top ten list of worst medical disasters

i put mine in a pringles can and i just throw it in the trash..

I make sure my needles are poking through the hefty bag before I put mine in the dumpster. And I have AIDS too!!!

I mix mine in with the bag of either kitty litter (when I clean it) or a bag of dog shit that I have to pick up.

Ozzy posted a series of pics a while back of close-ups of the pins after each use. They get pretty nasted and jagged. There like a dime a dozen, why not toss and start with a new one each time?
