I'm in week 4 of a "testosterone replacement" deal with the doc. He's enhancing my levels to be at the top end of normal...I'm sure you guys know more about it than I do.
Anyway, I've been working out for years with literally no gain until this last four weeks. Up almost 10lbs! Not bad for a 5'7" and 145 guy.
What I'm wondering is if I should change my workout to take the most advantage of this stuff. I usually alternate every 2 or 3 weeks between 8,6,4,2,6 sets and 8 set routines.
I wonder if I should just hit the weight's heavy and alternate the lifts every week to keep the body guessing.
Also, should I increase my food intake as well? It almost seems like my body is building muscle without doing much at all, but I'd really like to hit 160 or 165 before we cycle it off.
Suggestions appreciated.
Thanks!
