Does anyone know where I can buy them online or not?
These would come in really handy when doing that back exercise when your knee and hand are on the bench and you lift a 85 lbs dumbell from the floor to your chest... my calis' on my hands are unbearable, even with gloves. I feel that I could go up in weight if it was for my gripping problems.

These gloves would also come in handy when doing trap exercies.

Straps, if anything bro, straps. They'll at least require you to grip the bar SOME, whereas hooks don't require that at all.

BTW, "that back exercise" is called a One Arm Row or Dumbell Row. Please be specific next time bro.

Yes, dumb bell rows. Next time, I'll try to be more specific than above since the name was escaping me.

I have straps, cant stand them ... feels insecure like the weight is going to fall out of my hands.

Which direction are you wrapping them bro?

If you wrap them over the bar (start out going over, I mean) then the weight will feel insecure and unstable. If you start out by wrapping the strap underneath the bar, it feels much, much better.

Caluses aren't bad if you dont lose your grip on the bar, mine aren't very noticeable. I train my forearms a couple sets per week, I dont want any handicaps.

If you start using those gloves you will rely on them forever. I used to want a pair many years ago, but I would much rather be able to lift the weight myself. If I can't, then its just as good as having someone help me with my bench presses and saying I did it by myself.

I bought a pair through bodybuilding.com I use them only when I do my heaviest set of deadlifts and my grip is starting to give out, a strong grip is important so they should be used but sparingly.

Yes, maybe your right. I have been wrapping them over the bar and they feel totally unstable. I'll try this out. Thanks for the informative reply.

No problem. I used to wrap over the top too, and I thought that the straps didn't work at all, until someone showed me how to do it right.

Only thing, if you're pulling deads with an over/under grip, be sure to wrap the underhand strap over the bar, and the overhand strap under it. Just remember, wrap them in the opposite direction of your hand grip. (hopefully that makes sense)
