Gloves

Hi guys I wanted to know what are the best name brand gloves that are good to use when liftin. Do u feel using gloves there is a advantage ?

The only time I wear gloves is when I'm riding, my hands are calloused as hell from racing. The callouses help me grip the bars, dumbbells etc. better. Plus, they act as a good body scratcher haha, it's like 80 grit sand paper! Maybe try adjusting your grip if your callouses are hurting?

Chicks do not approve haha

GLoves don't matter, if you wanna use them just get a decent pair. dont think any one pair is better than others.

But yeah......gloves are for chics. Man up!!:flipoffha

Shoot...nothing wrong with wearing gloves. Women shouldn't wear gloves IMO...they don't go that heavy. It makes more sense for guys to wear gloves...if you don't want to go with wrist straps but want that extra grip

Hate gloves... In my 15+ years of training I tried gloves a few times and did not like them... hinders my ability to grip the bar tightly.

An alternative to gloves which I used for a few months is sponges.

Going raw helps your grip strength. If you don't want pain from the calluses, you gotta grip harder. Only lift that can hurt my hands are deads, but the pain only comes when the bar starts slipping. Forces you to grip tighter.
