Going to start Propecia. With ancillaries for sides

Hey guys

I'm 22 and just recently noticed my hairline has receded a bit and is thinning quite a bit.

I have been on Nizoral 2% for a while and I just bought some Minoxidil

Anyway I never really noticed any shedding until I did a 5 week Prohormone cycle then it really hit me. My family has a strong pattern of aggressive MPB, with the exception of a few cousins.

I want to be proacive about this so here is my plan

Finasteride 0.25mg to start of with and progress to 0.5mg
Nizoral 2-3 days week
Rogaine 2x day

To counteract sides I have

Clomid - increases function of the testes and is know to increase load size

Pramipexole - sexual desire, improved orgasms, erection quality

Aromasin - Control estrogen related sides

Cialis - I use this for circulation issues I have in my hands and feet (Raynaud's syndrome), but it also has obvious benefits on erection quality

What do you guys think?

I would rather be proactive against sides then wait until I'm stuck in a whole

Do you really want to be putting all those drugs in your body. Seriously!
You're only 22! Nothing on your list is gonna be easy to take for long.

Just run a simple test cycle with as little Aromatase inhibitor (AI) as possible and let your hairline fall where it may!
You can't fight genetics, bro.

I'm just going to have them on hand incase I notice propecia sides.

I agree you can't fight genetics themselves but you can alter the environment in which they take effect. E.g reducing DHT will prevent hair loss

But not permanently. It's my understanding, and correct me if I'm wrong, that Propecia only works to reduce and reverse hair loss while you're taking it. Once you stop, you revert back to your natural propensity toward hair loss, which I gather by your family history, is rather hopeless anyway. Propecia has some harsh sides that would seem to make it untenable for long term use.
I'm in the same boat, genetically, as you. I'm older now and don't much care about hair loss anymore.
I was investigating the drug (and I'm guessing you did diligent research) more as a safeguard against prostate enlargement. I keep it on hand. But I decided not to use it.
IMHO, when you have to take a third round of drugs merely to fight the SIDES OF THE SIDES of of the drugs you take to fight the sides of your first round of drugs...... You're simply taking too many drugs!

Think about it.... The solution seems obvious to me really.

I would strongly advise against it through personal experience. The loss of libido was huge and not worth it. Like it or not men NEED DHT, it's a very important hormone in your body that effects libido, mood, aggression etc. take that away and you don't feel the same. I went through it.

If I were to give advice on how to use it, .25mg EOD. There have been studies that show you don't need it ED, and will still give the desired effect of reducing DHT

Don't take the other stuff to combat side effects. You don't want to become a person that is taking medication on medication to cancel out sides.

Minoxidil works great and I'd personally just stick with that.

If you decide to go with propecia or minox there is a shedding phase that goes on for a bout a month

I use propecia and get zero sides, the shedding for a month when I started it kinda freaked me out.. but now my hair is back to normal and everything is good. No ED problems or anything. I also use nizoral 2% and it seems to work.
