whats up guys, due to serious tendinitis in right arm, iwill be cutting way back on upper body for the next 8 weeks. good a time as any to really blast the legs. I was thinking of a good split routine for strength, as my next bulking phase will start june 1. any suggestions, thanks

my stats are 33yrs, 6' 185, lean
cardio 2-3x per wk

welcome to the board..
i battle with tendonitis in the elbow/arm as well..i can tell you squatting will aggrevate it just as much or at least not allow you to heal..i would get yourself a good neoprene elbow sleeve and where it for any and all lifting that you do..

as far as a god leg workout:
squats
box squats
pause squats
front squats

those should be a part of any good routine

I have golfer's elbow so i know how you feel. Mine is getting better though. My leg routine is :

Squats
Hack squats
Leg press
Leg curl
Dead lifts

If it helps!

thanks guys, I have the sleeves, did not think of wearing them during legs, but youre right, my elbow kills me opening a can of tuna for christ sake. do you think i should do quads and hamstrings on different days? iwas thinking along these lines:

Squats, extensions, deadlifts or presses

3-4 days off then:

curls, lunges, stiff legd deads

do not grip the bar when squatting lay your hands on the bar. if you grip it you will be tempted to push up with your hands. this is not good.

oh btw. squats rule for leg size and strength. make um deep.

quads: leg ext.
front squats

hamstrings: lying leg curls
stiff legged deadlifts

calves: standing
seated.
