Great Anavar results

Wondering if anyone has experienced good results with Anavar? All I've been hearing is mixed reviews so I decided to try it for myself.

I've been taking it for about 5-6 weeks and have already gained about 7-8 solid pounds of muscle and lost a little body fat. I'm now 6'2", 238lbs., visible abs, run a 4.62 40yd dash, and have a 36" vertical. I don't lift weights much--if I do, it's usually cleans or squats. I am big on plyometrics (stadiums, sprinting, etc.), medicine ball throws, push-ups, pull-ups, and core training. I have noticed the workload has increased without even trying to do anything beyond the ordinary--just been training consistently. My muscles are definitely harder, and I am quicker and more explosive than ever.

I only take about 20mg/day and sometimes I go days without taking any. I highly recommend this if you are a competitive athlete. It has been a nice, smooth progressive gain throughout the last 5-6 weeks.

I wouldn't mind hearing more about your program, and what sources you learned from to organize a program for yourrself.

realize that the var has prolly only enhanced your training..

i also would not recco that you skip days when taking any AAS
i hope you plan on taking some PCT

I competed in track and field as a discus and hammer thrower. That's where I learned of the explosive strength training programs. Most of the program I do now is just the exercises I like the most and the ones I believe I get the most benefit from. While in college, I would to lift in conjunction with discus/hammer throwing and plyometrics. Now I try to avoid all the physical and mental stress I put on my body throughout the years, so I dropped all the heavy lifting I once did (lots of cleans, snatches, squats, some upper body).

Like I said, I just try to do the more "athletic" things like jumps, sprints, pull-ups, core training, etc. It seems to be working just fine. If I wanted to get back into the heavy lifting, I would probably stack some test to help me recover. To tell you the truth, I like the way things are going and I probably won't be in the weightroom for a while. It's been about 6 months of no weightroom and I've only gained good weight from doing the things I'm doing. It's amazing what kind of strength and explosiveness you build up running stadiums and doing med-ball throws.

When I was in my early twenties I did an anavar only cycle. I was really pleased with the results. Especially the strength increase. But that was before I tried test.

I tried test a while back and love how I felt while I was on it. IMO, I'd rather just stick to anavar. I still see good results with low sides and I have no reason to be the strongest man on the planet. If I ever decide to enter a strongman competition, then I'll hit the test again.

Ditto.

Man do you sound like an awesome bud I used to know. He was all for working out without using no weights at all. A lot of explosive movements, but if you tried to ask him about his routine, he changed it around ever day to keep it fresh so he couldn't answer your question. He was into Pavel http://www.dragondoor.com/ Matt Furry, & John Davies more recently.

i hear that at low (20mg) doses of var only you don't need post cycle therapy (pct) particularly because it has a very mild affect on natural test levels

from s'ology drug profiles section:

Studies using low dosages of this compound note minimal interferences with natural testosterone production. Likewise when it is used alone in small amounts there is typically no need for ancillary drugs like Clomid/Nolvadex or HCG. This has a lot to do with the fact that it does not convert to estrogen, which we know has an extremely profound effect on endogenous hormone production. Without estrogen to trigger negative feedback, we seem to note a higher threshold before inhibition is noted. But at higher dosages of course, a suppression of natural testosterone levels will still occur with this drug as with any anabolic/androgenic steroid and therefore require post cycle therapy to restore the HPTA.

what exactly is a MILD dose?

Ive been taking 50mgs a day split in 2 doses for 2 weeks -Ive noticed some slight strength gains, nothing to brag about but, its a little rough on the stomach -could be I have a wimpy stomach .

As I recall, I really started to feel its effects in the fourth week or so.
