HCG indication on blood tests

I have been doing TRT for about a year & seem to feel better while doing HCG twice a week. I have noticed it's better if I do it at night.

If ur on TRT what's your reasoning for needing HCG, just because u want bigger balls?

In a nutshell (no pun intended!) - YES!

Call me vain... but I am finding the diminishing size of my nuts almost as off-putting as my ED was...

I know a lot of this is psychological - but if I can improve the size of my nuts by a couple of 250iu jabs of HCG a week - then this is only going to help my predicament...

At the moment, my doc literally only checks my Testosterone levels on blood draws.... he isn't monitoring my LH and FSH levels - as they are minimal due to the TRT - and sadly he isn't watching my estrogen levels either (he states that Test Undecanoate has a history of not affecting estrogen levels in the body!?)

So, my issue is... will taking HCG affect my Testosterone reading - as if it is made higher, he will lengthen the frequency of the Nebido jabs...

If it does make the reading higher - I am more than happy to hold off on the HCG until the doc has finalised my TRT protocol.

Cheers for the input fellas
BigBen :)

It likely will raise it. Just skip it a week prior to testing.

I understand that it takes up to a week for the HCG to be out of your system - but does that necessarily mean that your levels will have dropped to what it would have been on your TRT dose of exogenous Test in that time? Or would this take longer?

lol or is this the same thing? - OK... confused now! :scratchhe

Founds some data on HCG, unfortunately for IM (subq might be a little slower):

Measurable increase in 2 hours
Peak in 6 hours, peak lasting 36 hours
Decline at 48 hours, reaching undetectable levels in 72 hours

Given a testosterone serum half life of 8 hours, a week is actually on the conservative side - four to five days would probably be enough.
The unknown factor (unknown to me) is the quantitative difference of the rate that hcg is metabolized when injected subq vs. im.
