HCG question LH and FSH

Should Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) be keeping my FSH and LH up?

I haven't had morning wood in like a week and had some ED where couldn't keep my erection it would go back and forth. Also broke out with a lot of shoulder and upper chest acne. Got tests back today and turns out my E2 is high at 51. So I'll lower that but I was more concerned with my FSH and LH numbers. They were 0.2 and 0.1 respectively.

It seemed like prior to this test Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) was keeping these numbers up. Does this mean I was sent a bad bottle or it got damaged in shipping?

Another question...if I'm on script testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) for life (I am), is Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) good for anything else other than nutsthetics? I have plenty of kids so I don't need it for that. I have a hard time controlling E2 and I've heard Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) aromatizes even more than test.

Why do you need the Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) then? Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) is good for cycle recovery and having kids. Other then that I don't really see a use for it, unless you just like blasting big loads and having your nuts be in da way all the time.

Haha, thanks that's basically why I was asking. I wasn't sure if it was good for anything else.

HCG mimics the LH signal from the pituitary gland, it doesn't actually increase it. HMG is what is used to increase FSH, but as you are done with kids, I don't think having a monster sperm count will be necessary. LH/FSH should be near zero as you're taking exogenous testosterone, so there is nothing wrong with those numbers at all. In fact, if you had higher levels of LH/FSH, I'd be concerned with the testosterone you're taking. ;)

The main purpose of Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) is to keep your testicles from atrophying along with "tricking" your body into the continued production of other hormones that aren't necessarily produced in the testes such as pregnenolone and DHEA. There is nothing wrong with your Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) as it does aromatize (means it can turn into estrogen), which is likely the cause for your acne. I strongly suggest you talk to your doctor about an aromatase inhibitor (AI) as this will help to keep your E2 down at the proper levels. Be aware, estradiol (E2) is primarily responsible for most of the side effects of testosterone supplementation, so it's in your best interest keeping it well within range. (20-30pg/mL is common)

That all makes sense thanks. Yeah I'm on anastrazole and my E2 was like 19 and I felt great but for some reason with no other changes It went back up to 51. So I need to talk to my provider.

Did the 19 get recorded using the Sensitive assay and the 51 using the regular assay perhaps? That would explain the different results.

Did you get the blood tests at the same time relative to you injections?

Did both include the HCG?

Actually first time I noticed nipple puffiness and not feeling great I got a regular test. Which confirmed it. Then we worked to get it lower and I got the sensitive done and it showed way lower and I felt much better. That was a few months ago. Now I just got the regular female hormone panel cuz I know something is wrong. Sensitive took a week to get the results back last time. I just wanted to quickly see if its high or low cuz I knew something was wrong.

51 isn't even that high I don't think but it makes me feel like crap and break out.

Yes, same time relative to injection and both using Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) from the same compounding pharmacy. I think I should just drop the Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) but how much do the nuts actually shrink? Does it leave a big empty sack or does the skin shrink?

They will shrink but it is hard to say how much. It is gradual so it makes it hard to tell. If I had to guess it might be 60-70% but like I said, difficult to say. And I think every guy has a different experience.

Your sack tightens up. Don't worry about that.

Think survivors clinging to a life raft, that's your nuts after a few years on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT). The actual testicle size is maybe 70% of what it once was, but I could care less as that's not we're truly measured by. ;)

I have to admit that I miss giving them a good scratching while I am watching the game on tv. Just not the same anymore. :-(

Man, I have a three year old that likes to dive-bomb my lap when I'm sitting on the couch. I like having a reduced chance of getting nailed square in the boys by a sharp toddler knee. :p

Unavoidable. I swear they do it on purpose. It is like there is a magnet there.

You ain't kidding. I'm very thankful she's no longer nut-height as she would come running, "DADDY!" *BAM!!* right into the hardy boys. It was like watching a horror movie in slow motion, knowing that pain was imminent. :(

Good post. Most of the posts before this didn't truly acknowledge all of the benefits or uses of hVG.

I will say that it's not found in lab work anywhere but I've notices, as have others, an increased feeling of well being when on hCG. I've also had increased libido with all other factors being equal. I do tend to have estrogen issues that are more difficult to manage with hCG than T alone. At the end of the day I played with doses of hCG and Aromatase inhibitor (AI) to get the results I wanted. I keep my hCG dose under 500iu per injection and don't do the injections on back to back days like my doctors protocol called for initially. I use the 3.5 day protocol that many are using with hCG injections the day before the next T shot.
