heating crashed gear lose potency?

got some test prop that crashed a bit and, and i had it sit in a cup of boiling water once, didnt really work. next day i tried it again, didnt really work again. few days later now i put it on a hot plate (electric stove) for 3 minutes and its completely ready to pin.

im wondering if this whole process made it lose any of its potency?

If you heat it high enough to degrade the hormone it will lose potency.
