heavy lifting/Not feeling sore ?

DOMS (Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness) is still not very well understood by scientists. I usually only get very sore for the first couple weeks after a layoff or changing exercises around. The important thing is that you are seeing the numbers go up in the weight room and on the scale without your bodyfat caliper readings getting out of control. That's progress whether your muscles are sore or not.

This may contradict what most of you say but I take soreness as a good indicator of my workout. But only if certain factors were also accounted. First off I make sure I consumed enough calories through the day, second is my rest. If both are done properly and I am sore I feel I got a good workout. I will stick to this workout for about 5-6 weeks slowly progressing in strenght. The soreness will also gradually diminish as my body becomes acustomed to that particular routine. Then Ill start a new routine and my soreness we begin again. But again, every body is differant. See what works for you.
