The best cream to put on for pain is Biofreeze, hands down. We use it in our physical therapy clinic and the patient love it. Many of them have gone out and bought their own bottles to use at home. We usually apply it at the end of our treatment session and the pain relief lasts for 3-4 hours and sometimes more.

So this cream relieves pain. Does this mean I can put the cream on and train without pain, and it wont make the injury worse? It makes no sense to me to even use it.

If it is for arthritus, then I can understand what the benefit would be.

This cream does relieve pain. Will it totally alleviate pain where you will injure it worse. This is possible but so is continuing training and not consulting a health professional who has education on what his current condition is. My first recommendation would be to consult a physical therapist. They will spend an hour with you asking many questions and performing multiple tests to problem solve and find out your diagnosis. A physical therapist is highly specialized with musculoskeletal injuries.
