help with cardio and ab training while cutting

When I start cutting i was gonna start 4 cardio days 30 mins brisk walking empty stomach am cardio. Then I was gonna see how that works then adjust from there.

for my abs from what i read that they can be trained everyday while cutting is this true?
also how should my sets and reps be for ab training and how often??

Interested in seeing the responses here. I am currently trying to get my abs to come out and train them once a week hard but am considering going to 3x a week. Ive also started doing cardio 6x a week was only doing it 2x a week prior. Summer is around the corner and looking to really be in shape this year. I suspect every day is too much, its still a muscle and gets worked with many other exercises as well.
 
train abs once a wk like everything else. most advanced people don't train abs at all. training them will not make them more visible, only getting leaner does that. 3-5 sets of 15-20 reps will suffice for your workouts.
 
dtone - I train abs routinely and they are decently defined, but not where I like. I am under 8%bf, but def have some water bloat from cycle. Aside from shedding all the water weight, how lean does one need to be for that ripped 6pack look we all want (OP included I am sure)? 5%?
