I injected for the first time yesterday. I injected 2.5 cc's into my right quad. Pin went in fine and air bubbles came up when I aspirated. Went ahead and injected. I forgot to go slow and injected really fast. I let the pin sit for about 30 seconds to make sure all the gear went in. Pulled out and I felt really cold and almost threw up. No cough though. Any thoughts?

It was probably just nerves from injecting for the first time. I wouldn't worry about it.

How does it feel today? My injection areas are normally a little swollen for 2-3 days after the injection. As long as you were sterile with your injection and you aspirated you're fine.

It's a little swollen, but not bad at all. Thanks for the help.

No worries. Just remember to go slow next time. Quad's are the best for injecting as you have a lot of control. When I inject my glute by myself, I move the needle around a lot and it hurts like hell...
