Here's something interesting...

Tren + B6 = Bad Idea?

I've read on the net that B6 is a 5ar inhibitor.

Can someone verify this.

Can you imagine the poor fuckers who are on Fina who are taking 600mg B6 ED to inhibit progesteron sides, only to accelerate their hairloss!

Report on B6, Zinc znd Alzeic Acid.

If this is true then we need a serious rethink about dealing with progesterone sides on Fina.

There is some evidence that vitamin B6 and other compounds such as zinc inhibit 5-alpha reductase.
This enzyme, naturally present in tissues such as hair follicles and prostate tissue converts testosterone to dihydrotestosterone which in the tissues it is produced acts as a more potent androgen with greater affinity for the androgen receptor and greater androgen mediated effects.
Drugs like finasteride prevent hair loss and growth of prostate tissue by blocking the production of dihydrotestosterone.
Naturally occuring compounds such as B6 and zinc with some ability to inhibit the production of dihydrotestosterone may be beneficial in dietary prevention of these problems.
Trenbolone doesn't convert to dihydrotestosterone but certainly has a very high affinity for the androgen receptor .
(comparable to DHT -http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi?cmd=Retrieve&db=pubmed&dopt=Abstract&list_uids=11252818)
The use of any 5-alpha reductase inhibitors to protect against the androgenic effects of Trenbolone such as hair loss and prostate growth does not have a great scientific basis.

I'm not sure about the progestogenic side effects and whether these can be mitigated by the use of supplements such as B6. They probably won't do any harm in terms of the androgenic side effects though.

That's true, but the 5ar enzyme is used by tren to reduce down to DHN which has very low activity in the scalp, if the 5ar blocked then the hairloss is greatly accellerated isn't it?

Test = DHT
Tren = DHN (But if you block to reduction then the hair loss increases)

So no one knows anything more, great. So all the advice people have been giving could potentially be flawed lol.
