HGH Dosing & Vial Questions

1) If your doc pre-mixed your Saizen for you (as first-timer) should it be in the bacteriostatic water vial (not the HGH vial) or is something weird if all they gave you (and said they mixed it) was the bacteriostatic water vial and an otherwise empty Saizen box and directions insert?
2) What sounds right as an intro modest dose for Saizen HGH (not for bulking): 20 in 'insulin units' (which I think is 1 I.U.) or 2 in insulin units (ha-ha?)?
3) That is the right translation? (1 I.U. of mixed Saizen HGH is 20 insulin units, and so if 1 I.U. is taken six days on and one day off, you've got about a three-week supply in a 15 I.U. Saizen container (which also says 6mg).)

One insululin syringe fully loaded contains ONE cc of liquid. If your HGH is properely mixed one cc is one unit of HGH. Premixed HGH ? Shakey !

1. It should be in the HGH vial.
2. For most guys 2iu's is the min. I'm not sure for a female.
3. As for the 1 IU is equals .20 on an insulin dart...well it all depends on the amount of water that was added to the HGH vial.

Yes, it does... thanks. Looking forward to talking w/doc to get a better sense of his recommended dose details.. and why his lab didn't provide the whole kit.

Dosage: 2 IU's a day for 5 days and take 2 days off.
20 units on insulin syringe = 1 IU
40 units on insulin syringe = 2 IU
60 units on insulin syringe = 3 IU

That clicks into a visual step-by-step demo showing you how to mix it... the weird part is they show you how to put the water into the Saizen HGH vial and swish it... they miss a step or confuse something here... then the next frame shows the bacteriostatic water bottle (which would be empty) as the thing you draw from... (just as what I wound up with from my doc's).

Yea that is wierd.

As for the 1IU = 20 that part is right because they added 3cc of water to 15iu of GH. But again it all depends on how much water you add to the GH for what number it will be on the slin pin. The way I was taught is that 1cc =100 so for the way the vid shows it 3cc =300 and 300 divided by 15ui from the growth = 20 for the slin pin per IU

You really need to STOP giving out infomation, as it is becoming very obvious you don't have a clue.

The concentration of your reconstituted rHGH is totally dependant on how much water you use. Me, I use 0.6 cc in a 6IU vial of HGH, and I take 3IU or 30 units on a slin pin daily.

One another note, rHGH is quite fragile and you definitely don't want to be shaking it as you stated above..........

Thanks. I should elaborate (a little) on where I'm coming from w/this. I'm 99% sure the lab tech injected me w/20 units on the insulin syringe... then at home I read up on dosages, looked at all the markings on the insulin syringe and managed to introduce doubt into what was otherwise a blissful state.

I realized there are like 5 sets of numbers running around open to easy miscalculation (HGH mg, HGH IU, ml of water, ccs, insulin units, etc.) ... decided I wanted to know a little more before I injected myself w/the 20 insulin units. (Which looks like a helluva lot when coming from a tiny expensive bottle! )

Plus just wasn't all that convinced about the lab tech's math skills.. she probably did fine, but had to go ask the in-house pharmacist the answer when I asked how many days/weeks the bottle was supposed to last.

That said, I feel fine and haven't been real hungry this weekend, energy seems stable. So, whatever. Glad to have had your help w/the explanations.

OK, per a different lab tech who sounded informed, it is the 20 in insulin units that I'm supposed to be doing, and that's my doc's recommended starting dose for folks of my weight and gender. Supposedly the way they mix it it's just under what they call 1 unit of HGH (which would be 25 on my insulin stick). And they routinely mix the stuff for new patients and put it back into the bacteriostatic water bottle because the other one's so small. (She didn't miss a beat when mentioning this so I'm fine on it, especially given that I feel some systemic effect from the injection. Will ask them next time to *not mix it* and let me do that.) !

Be very careful when mixing the two together. The HGH is very fragile so let the water trickle down the side of the vial then swish do not shake.

Thank you again.. and yes, will be very careful (but appreciate the reminder). Have read a bunch of instructions and recommendations. I'm taking it in the morning on the rationale that some have mentioned that way you are not adding to the natural nighttime GH rise that happens. (So in theory you might get better 'all day' levels.)

But am open to different views about that. Like I was wondering if anyone had better luck w/late afternoon. It has not made me tired.. rather, if I can judge from just a couple days, I seem to have a better stable amount of energy. (Don't think without it my carb and fat metabolism is so hot, so maybe I'm just getting better-regulated fuel for the fire so to speak.)

Starting on HGH therapy for muscle mass and general health.52 yr old body bulider.
The siazen is available from Canada in 5 or 8.8 unit vials.
If I wanted to take 5 iu daily for 5 days,how many vials would I need to buy ?

Just curious but by fragile do you mean that if the gh is shaken it clumps up or something??? I have always followed this rule but I really want to know what does happen if you shake it lol!!!
