Hi. Im a busy mom of 3 trying to save myself time from researching..thought I'd give this form a shot. I have been taking a low dose of hgh for anti aging purposes for a little over a year. Was wondering if hgh effects estrogen and testosterone levels?? Would like to get blood tests done but don't want to explain to my family dr. why my hgh levels are abnormally high. Anyone know how long it takes after stopping hgh before your hgh levels return to a normal range? Thanks:)

welcome to the group Jenny. Its nice to have females in here.

How has the HGH been working for you so far?

anyway, as far as I know, HGH does not effect testosterone or estrogen levels.

good luck

Thanks. Unfortunatly I don't notice anything difference about apearance although the first month i noticed slightly better skin. One major thing I noticed from the beginjng to now is I cant stay awake like I could before or wake up to an alarm. I wanted to get some general blood tests but don't want my gh levels to be abnormal. Anyone know how long i would have to stop taking the hgh before my levels returned to normal?

so your getting more sleep. Thats a good thing. You body needs sleep to lose weight as well as build muscle.

Someone please correct me if I am wrong, but if you are getting standard blood tests (CBC, lipids, etc.), no one is going to check your GH levels.

No I believe the igf test measures levels, as far as body absorbing. A stim test is used to measure a GH deficiency. And there are several- my son had 2 different ones run when they were looking for a GH deficiency- 1 is by done by dropping blood pressure, the other is modifying blood sugars.

This is where I've been going to get my IGF levels tested.

I've used this site twice and am impressed with the system. Yesterday I had a test done around 1 PM and had my results in my email this morning at 10:30 AM.
