High blood pressure

There is a lot of good info in this thread and really anyone on gear should be looking this over and running supplements to help protect cardiovascular system.

Indeed. You should see the pile of cardiovascular support supps I just got in. I'd consider them necessities on cycle, as much as aromasin.

I have a tendency toward higher BP and found it worthwhile to get a decent machine for home use so I can keep an eye on it when I run anything. The one I got came with 2 cuffs (average and large). They are not all that expensive and I use mine to check my BP a couple times a day to get an average.

After using it for a while you want to bring it with you to your next doctor's appointment so you can check it's accuracy. Mine was pretty much spot on with what the doc and nurse got so I know I can rely on what it says to be true. Iy even remembers the last hundred or so test and can display them as well as a running average.

High BP

I'm on BP medicine right now. It runs high in my family. I cut out salt completely and avoid foods that are cooked with salt. I've used the machines at work and they all suck. The cuffs are too small and the machines aren't accurate. When I go to my docs they have to use a big cuff to get an accurate read. I may be buying a home one for my next cycle to monitor it. Good luck bro.

Take what essay said but with Red yeast rice, it will decrease coq10 in your body so important to run those together. This stuff has all really worked for me.

Here's what I actually did and it's not that expensive.

First 2 weeks
800mg Magnesium/d
800mg Potassium/d
1.5g Calcium
150mg CoQ-10

After 2 weeks drop the Mag/Pot (unless your BP hasn't dropped at least 10 points, then stick with it for another two weeks)

After 4 weeks just take the 150mg/d of the CoQ-10. Even dropping to 100mg/d will proly do for maintenance.

Then on top of this I take Red yeast rice, Hawthorne, and 5-10g fish oil. My Bp was 145-150/90-94.

This dropped it to 120-80 and has stayed consistently after dropping the others. It won't work for everyone but I know plenty who had good results. I also got a bp med from my doc which is just a diuretic, Microzide, I took that for a few days but felt like a 5 yr old kid taking a leak every 30 minutes lol.

This worked tremendously for me. My BP is now down to about 130/70 compared to 170/100 at times. As mentioned by BBE, at NTBM we have a product called N2Guard that has a ton of good stuff in it to help control cholesterol and BP while on cycle. I will be running this with my next cycle.

Ok guys I've gotten hawthorn berry, coq10, and red yeast rice. How long does this usually take to kick in and get your bp under control? And can I take all this together?

Also I think it my the the m5 that I take as a pre workout that's making my bp go up. It has a lot of creatine in it, and I've read where a lot of people's bp goes up on creatine. What do y'all think?

Bump.... Any answers on how long these supplements take to work. I'm taking red yeast rice, coq10, and hawthorn berry.

It took 2-3 wks for me but worked very well and stayed down after. I took the protocol laid out by User that he posted in this thread. MAg/Pot/Calc/red yeast/coq10

Ok I've been taking those three for about a week now. Just waiting for it to subside a lil. I can tell its high just by sitting here. Hopefully this works cause I would hate to stop at week 5 cause I can't get this under control.

Meathead how much of each do you take a day?

This was copied and pasted from UserAt204 that was posted earlier in the thread. This is what he told me to take and it worked well.
