Hitting Chest and Arms Twice a week?

My chest and arms are lagging compared to my back and legs. So am wanting to adjust my workout days for my upcoming cycle.

Chest/bi
Legs
Back/tri
Off
Chest/shoulders
Arm
Off

I know overtraining isn't as big a concern while on a cycle but still wanted others' input and suggestions on how I could improve my split.

I do arms and shoulders twice a week personally as those are my glaring weak points. But I do a 5 day split and use the weekends as my second opportunity to hit those muscle groups.

M: chest
Tu: back
We: shoulders
Th: arms
F: legs
Sa: arms
Su: shoulders

The only problem I've had is a little less intensity in my chest day as the anterior delts are a little tired for pressing, and posterior delts for crossovers. Other than a weird problem with my right deltoid (possible lipoma), it has worked pretty well for me.

My .02c :)

Maybe your chest is weak cause your always putting it with another muscle group..
How about having a dedicated chest day one day a week then another one with another muscle group later in week.
How about remove shoulders from your chest day,, no point in shoulders being matted with chest because you probably over use your shoulders on chest day anyhow (that's why your chest needs work, your prob lifting heavy on bench press and end up using your shoulders,, rather going light and isolating your chest)

How the fuck do you train every day of the weak? I do six days and that shit takes it toll. Truly amazing that your body can handle that kind of workload congrats srs

I see many people working their shoulders with their chest. To me it seems like you would be sacrificing gains for one of the muscle groups by targeting both on the same day.

I started out 3 days a week, moved to 5, then 6. Now I'm going 7 without any issues outside the occasional need for a deload week. I think for some of us, it's just a matter of wanting it that much, and being willing to deal with always being a little sore in one body part or another. One of these days I'll probably go back to 5, but I have to see what I can do with this frame. ;)
