So far all prop esters cause horrible PIP for me.. and swollen, yes, I feel my leg swell up as the oil enters the muscle.. feels kinda weird.. only with my left leg tho.. must be all the pressure on the nerves.

I actually enjoy shooting quads. I shoot outer quads/thigh area and I have zero pain. I have also been shooting with 29g half inch pins and they have been so smooth. Maybe once every 5 months, I will hit a nerve but I hit way less nerves when I shoot on the outer part. Slin pins FTW!!!

hi not trying to hijack your thread just wanted to comment, this is my first cycle of Test Cyp 250mg. I n ject it in my quad on Tuesday 4 Dec, the injection itself was not painful, however the following day my quads were very sore and painful to the touch, can barely walk. Can anyone help me out and explain what is happening.

Thanks

It is normal to have a little soreness after your first couple of injections. It is often referred to as "virgin" muscle as it isn't used to it. It gets a lot easier after you inject into it a few times. But I have never heard of someone not being able to walk after their first injection. Do you normally have problems after getting vaccinations or a pennicillian shot for example?

I like others here, 1" 25g pins. I did my quads exclusively for the last 2 yrs with no real problem.
I play a lot of ice hockey and have never had any issues.
Also, make sure you inject slowly to reduce discomfort afterwards.

I originally only injected in my glutes, but after reading a number of strings like this, I decided a couple of months ago to try adding quads to my rotation to reduce scar tissue issues. I've done both quads a couple of times now (25g) with no problems. I do seem to feel the injection spot afterwards more with the quads than with the glutes, but it's not something I would call pain. I limit the injection volume to 1cc in both areas, as I've found that when I go much above that I seem to get to the point of a little soreness afterwards.

200mg Cyp - is that 1ml? If you're a runner why don't you inject delts? And my other suggestion is halve it and do it twice a week, 25g 3/4" delts: "What injection?" Seriously, zero pain, less T fluctuation . . .

I've injected quads once, pain for four days, sub-Q belly once, pain and swelling for five weeks, delts for every other time - zero pain, less time taken than cleaning my teeth. Had some blood dripping for the first time a week ago - five seconds of pressure and all done. Aside from that: perfect every time.

I was thinking it would be a good idea to start rotating more spots in for injections. I am not flexible enough to twist around to pin my glutes. So I finally took SamSong's advice and tried my delts. I have done my right and left once now. I was a little nervous because putting a one inch needle in there seems like a lot. And the muscle is smaller so you have less of a target area. But my first two delt pins were great! The needle felt like it was going into butter. And it was easy to press the plunger with one hand. I expected some soreness injecting into a new muscle the first time, but it was very mild. Hardly noticed anything at first. Just some mild soreness at the spot that started two days later. Much better than my quads. I really like pinning my delts.

I still plan on pinning my quads too because I like the idea of rotating over 4 spots. I definitely encourage you to try pinning your delts. Listen to SamSong.

Just a question.

I just switched to 1" 25g for my quads. I was using 22g.

I thought about trying delts as well but the only thing stopping me is it seems like I have to press extremely hard on the plunger to inject all of my dose. It just seems like it takes way too long and I know I must wiggle the syringe a little from applying so much pressure.

I did run some hot water over the vial bottom to heat up the oil.

Would a smaller barrel on a 1cc syringe be much better? Is that what most people use anyway?

Thanks

I use a 3cc barrel with a 25g needle. Worked fine. A little wiggle but not bad. I just pressed the plunger very slowly and took my time.

I've shot my quads for the better part of 15 years....yes, that long. LOL.

25 gauge, 1 inch unless you have a lot of fat. I've done slin pins too and never had a problem.

Word of warning though.....15 years has them scarred up pretty badly. Now I have to find the sweet spots.

Been doing quad injections useing 22g 1.5inch needles since i started on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) and never had any issues. I leave about a quarter inch of the needle showing while injecting aswell.

1/2 Inch is enough for quads? Thats got to be awesome!

Yeah pretty much. I am not super lean either. I have bigger out quads and I really push that insulin in the muscle as deep as I can. Haven't used anything other than slin pins for quite some time now. lol

lol I use a 25gauge, 1inch and push sometimes 6ml thru into the quad. You cunts jelly I get 0 PIP. No mater what gear I use that I use 6ml of. Weather tren, prop, deca, npp etc.

Look into injecting your testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) subcutaneously. Several members here on 'ology pin this way.

STABLE TESTOSTERONE LEVELS ACHIEVED WITH SUBCUTANEOUS TESTOSTERONE INJECTIONS

M.B. Greenspan, C.M. Chang
Division of Urology, Department of Surgery, McMaster University,
Hamilton, ON, Canada

Objectives: The preferred technique of androgen replacement has been intramuscular (IM) testosterone, but wide variations in testosterone levels are often seen. Subcutaneous (SC) testosterone injection is a novel approach; however, its physiological effects are unclear. We therefore investigated the sustainability of stable testosterone levels using SC therapy. Patients and methods: Between May and September 2005, we conducted a small pilot study involving 10 male patients with symptomatic late-onset hypogonadism.

Every patient had been stable on TE 200 mg IM for 1 year. Patients were instructed to self-inject with testosterone enanthate (TE) 100 mg SC (DELATESTRYL 200 mg/cc, Theramed Corp, Canada) into the anterior abdomen once weekly. Some patients were down-titrated to 50 mg based on their total testosterone (T) at 4 weeks.

Informed consent was obtained as SC testosterone administration is not officially approved by Health Canada. T levels were measured before and 24 hours after injection during weeks 1, 2, 3, and 4, and 96 hours after injection in week 6 and 8.

At week 12, PSA, CBC, and T levels were measured however; the week 12 data are still being collected.

Results: Prior to initiation of SC therapy, T was 19.14+3.48 nmol/l, hemoglobin 15.8+1.3 g/dl, hematocrit 0.47+0.02, and PSA 1.05+0.65 ng/ml. During the first 4 weeks, there was a steady increase in pre-injection T from 19.14+3.48 to 23.89+9.15 nmol/l (p¼0.1). However, after 8 weeks the post-injection T (25.77+7.67 nmol/l) remained similar to that of week 1 (27.46+12.91 nmol/l). Patients tolerated this therapy with no adverse effects.

Conclusions: A once-week SC injection of 50–100 mg of TE appears to achieve sustainable and stable levels of physiological T. This technique offers fewer physician visits and the use of smaller quantity of medication, thus lower costs. However, the long term clinical and physiological effects of this therapy need further evaluation.

More and more Docs are allowing SC injections of Test:

* Less Painful
* No Muscle Damage
* Smoother Metabolic Uptake (slower release of esters)
* Economical

SC is a good idea...
what ML is the limit when injecting as to not get a lump after injection ?
I noticed IM shots get rapidly absorbed...
within 3 hours you start to feel them..
