How can I incorporate Yoga in my training?

I know nothing about yoga or piltates and would like to know is once a week good? Also when in between bodyparts do you recommend doing it. I train Chest on monday, Legs on tuesday and Back on thursday or Friday. Only lifting 3x week now and focusing more on cardio. Im 278lbs and not real flexible.
Life has sucked lately. Girls a hor, my dog died, stuck in the mountains and all friends down in the city and sales are down so my friend who runs pilates and yoga classes finally talked me into coming no charge. Also going threw a little case of the Clomid blues I like to call it.

So im startin tommorow after work at 5 oclock. My weight training is just standard no powerlifting just keepin reps in the 8-10 range.
So how many days? Does it make me stronger my friend the girl that teaches the classes says it will?
