So like the Title states, just trying to get some ideas on how people out there cook their chicken breast. What do you put on it and what time/temp do you guys cook it at, bake? broil? grill? Give me some ideas here cause I'm tired of the same bland chicken!

It really depends but most recently I baked a bunch at 350F for 45 minutes then SHREDDED it all. This way I can put it into wraps with wheat tortillas, in my salads with guacamole (on low carb days/high fat days), and mixed in with brown rice with olive oil. I totally hear you on finding new ways on how to cook this lovely bird. I eagerly await more creative responses with my notepad!

My .02c :)

CROCK POT!!!!

Several breasts (or thighs for low carb/high fat days) and a half cup of water and seasoning. Low, overnight = pulled chicken for days.

I make sandwiches, bbq, tacos, etc

Amazing

You name it and every spice in the book like making up different combos

I fry my chicken lol jus kidding I bake mines 350f about 45 min n I just add lemon pepper on it for taste and sliced jalepenos

Grilling is the best for salads and wraps. Baked is good also...seasoned to taste as you like.

I cut it into strips and cook it in a pan on the stove using low heat until done (normally around 20-30 min). Different spices and seasonings every day to mix things up :)

As long as i can afford it and the weather is good, i season it with snake shake (very good) and grill it. I usually grill 10lbs at a time. Im lucky if that lasts a week

Haha yeah man I hear you 10 lbs doesn't last long in my fridge either, what is snake shake?

Sounds crazy but I bake it in curry and chicken broth with brown rice...MMMM
Sounds delicious but every chicken broth I've seen canned anyway is packed with sodium unless you use your own broth. Trying to watch my sodium intake when I start my cycle, gonna look bloated enough as it is. :x

4 chicken breasts in a casserole, little water in the bottom (just enough to coat the casserole dish bottom), 1 chopped onion, 1/4 cup maple syrup drzzled over top, oregano and basil sprinkle... cook 45-55 mins uncovered at 350...mmmm

olive oil heated in a pan goes bad instantly. try coconut oil.

now that the weather is nicer i will end up grilling most of my meats 3lbs at a time with no pans to clean!!!

I smother mine in garlic, then add - chilli salt, pepper and mixed herbs then cook in the oven. I do like some sweet chilli sauce on top too...

My all time favorite chicken breast recipe is as follow (a new take in chicken cutlets):

Boneless skinless chicken breast with excess fat cut off, filleted and cut into any size you like (I like bigger but thinner personally). Wash chicken under cold water and then season with salt, black pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, cumin, cardamon, coriander, and turmeric (last 4 can be found at most grocery stores but used a lot in middle eastern and Mediterranean diets). Set aside.

In a bowl crack a couple eggs and some milk and whisk. In a plate put generous amount of flour and in a pin other plate take ritz crackers or corn flakes and crush them up really good. Cover the seasoned chicken with flour, dip and soak it in the egg/milk mixture, than bread it with the corn flakes or ritz crackers. Put in a Pyrex dish and pour a generous amount of olive oil over every cutlet. Bake at around 400 for ~25-35min and flip half way through baking. If they dry out just add a bit more olive oil to the cutlets. I'll try and take a pic of them next time I make them but they're really just baked chicken cutlets (not fried), the special seasoning used makes a great taste difference, the ritz crackers or corn flakes add taste and texture over bread crumbs, and the fact they're baked in olive oil not fried in vegetable oil. My number 1 go to meal. LOVE IT!

I like to steam chicken breasts.

While chicken is steaming, I dice up a small onion, some tomato, chop some garlic, and slice a handful of mushrooms. Then I saute everything in butter. When it's done I cover it with a layer of grated mozzarella cheese turn off the burner, and put a lid on the skillet.

By then the chicken breasts are ready to come out of the steamer, and I top 'em with my melted cheese mixture and sprinkle with habanero hot sauce.
