How do you guys think Levrone will look at MR O?

As I'm sure most have heard by now....Kevin Levrone is coming out of retirement and competing in 2016 Mr Olympia at 52 years old.

Now there's no doubt this guy was one of the most genetically gifted competitors to ever hit the stage...possibly more so than Heath IMO. But at his age do you really think he can hop on stage and stand a chance? And after not competing for 13 years?

What does everyone think?

BTW....here's a pic of him in 09. Roughly 6 years out of the game.

I hadn't hear about it - but since he's the same age that I am I will be rooting for him and am more likely to follow the competition with interest this year.

Have always been a fan. I think you will definately see he has an "aged" body. As in, wider waist than when he was young, smaller legs (many older pro's get smaller legs) but still a great chest and decent package I'm guessing. Can't wait to see it.

I honestly think he was asked to do this by the ifbb or Weider to draw some attention. Losing Kai last year probably hurt them. Having a legend come out of retirement will bring interest back regardless of how he looks. It's more of a curiosity thing.

He'll have a decent chest, oiled delts and arms, larger waist than before, mediocre back and lacklustre legs

IMO.

This is prob pretty accurate. Those areas (back & legs) are the 2 most difficult to get back as you age. You see it with every come back that has been attempted.
As much as I am pulling for Levrone it's one thing to look at pics of him and see his progress and how good he looks but you have to remember in those pics he isnt standing next to the likes of Phil Heath!! I just dont see how he can pull it off. Anything top 10 would honestly be an amazing accomplishment. While I think Levrone is amazing and for sure one of the most genetically gifted bodybuilders to have ever stepped on stage I just dont see how he can compete with these guys. Even in his prime the game has changed so much that he wouldn't be beating these guys. As much as Id like to see it I just do not see him factoring in on the final day. I hope I am wrong.

i dont think he got a shot in hell of winning but he will look decent and it will draw a crowd, which is exactly whay they want.He has nothing to lose because of his age, time out of the game etc.Its a win win situation for him.He either shocks the world or he didnt look good because of age and time off from the game.

I've seen a few YouTube videos from semi reputable guys, who of course know Kevin personally they say, predicting a top 5 finish. I just don't see a legit top ten finish for him. I'm definitely a levrone fan but I seriously can't imagine him as a serious threat. It definitely makes the Olympia much more interesting however
