That was pretty awful. I suspect the problem here is piss poor leadership. If a ranking officer put his foot down here, this never would have happened.
Don't paint every cop in a bad light. I work hand in hand with a lot of cops, and at least in my area, I would say that most of them chose that job for the right reasons. There's a lot of good men and women in uniform that would risk their lives to save yours.

The reporter said they did this "by the book" HOW IS ARRESTING THE VICTIM "By the book" how is male "officers" gang-stripping the victim "by the book"?
If they ever activate the Auschwitz, I mean..FEMA camps, these guys will finally have their dream job molesting prisoners who are about to be gassed en masse.
I agree that there are a lot of good cops, who actually are there to SERVE and protect,...but I've seen enough to know there are a shitload more who are as dirty as dirty gets.
Within a 3 mile radius, there are cops who I KNOW not only DO hard drugs,...but actually SELL THEM, also quite a few in the two closest PD's have "gotten in trouble" or "resigned" for things like soliciting speeding women for sex acts to get out of tickets, sex with underage girls, and other stuff.
Also, the former chief's son beat up a friend of mine at the local bar, permanently damaged his eyesight, for no reason at all, kid was minding his own business walking home, they followed him out, jacked him up, and left him in the street for dead. You think that punkass went to prison? Hell no.
Also, my business was broken into, they took fingerprints, it was a series of robberies in my area,...asked months later what happened with the prints, they acted like they didn't know what we were talking about, then like "oh yeah, that, we didn't find anything"....I heard one of the cops sons and his friends were the ones doing the crimes (when you know the local pot heads, they have intel on the whole underground scene), of course no one was ever "caught", of a total of 12 or so robberies. What a coincidence.
And here's the cherry on top, a local cop and his father had been robbing an old lady of cash in her house,...well one night she walked in on them, so they stabbed her to death. Those guys actually DID get busted.
I so wish I was joking about any of this.

The reason behind it was simply abuse of power and violating a womans rights...honestly for no real reason as she was not even the one supposed to be arrested.

There are a lot of good/great/honest/morally sound cops killed in the line of duty...I would replace all their deaths with every single cop in this video AND the person recording. That is all

Thats sickening. i can tell you in my dept. and in the state i live in strip searches are done by two officers of the same gender as the accused.. never ever do we put our hands on someone being searched unless attacked. should a search be refused we add it to the alread.y pending charges and to a hospital we go. searches are done to ensure no weapons or drugs are hidden in any body cavity god forbid a balloon ruptures and you have an overdose death on your hands....a trip to the e.r. ensures this.
