Ive been on my bulking cycle for 14 weeks of test/deca at 500/400. added in tren ace a few weeks back. All going good, but about a month or so ago I had bloods done to CHECK everything out. Had them done on the 16th of last month. My PCV was at 48%. PCV is the same as hemacrit right?

Normal range is

40-54. So im assuming its deffs gone up since then. But im curious how fast can it go up. I know its a guessing game without more blood work but can anyone roughly guess? Would my PCV have hit 50% since then? I think im getting signs of increased Hema but it could be something else so im not sure. Maybe diet or sleep related.

Yes, PCV stands for packed cell volume and is the same as hematocrit.
Everyone responds differently, so it's hard to predict how fast you'll go up. Best just to give blood if you can, you will get a rough reading for free in the process.

Mine goes up pretty damn fast just on a high TRT dose... probably more than I could keep up with using only whole blood donation.
I'd say the odds that you're over 50% by now are pretty good.

I have seen guys on TRT get spikes in their hematocrit in a month's time. You are taking a lot more exogenous test than I guy on TRT would. Best thing you can do is to keep donating blood.

Until you figure out where you stand it probably wouldn't hurt to take a low-dose aspirin daily.

Isn't pretty much everyone supposed to take this unless they have some underlying health risk? :-)

There was a recent study that concluded that the risk of stomach bleeding outweighed the benefits for some and argued against taking it without indication.

polycythemia=increased bp. increased bp=ventricular hypertrophy simple as that . so when everyone down plays increase bp, they shouldn't (but it comes wit what we're doing)

Not calling you a liar, but there was a study saying someone had stomach bleeding from one aspirin a day??

I drained out almost 2 cups if whole blood the day before Christmas and my blood work from yesterday showed my hemotocrit at 48.8.
Looks like its time again, RBC is 5.67 the top of the range is 5.8

I'm sure the 600 mg of EQ has z lot to do with it

How much will it cost to give blood? Also can you do it yourself

If you're donating the blood, it doesn't cost you anything.
If you are unable to donate and have a prescription for phlebotomy, there is often a charge ($113 at my blood center AFAIR)
I've heard it's possible to do it yourself, but not for the faint of heart and not without risk I'm sure.

The the most serious risk factor associated with prolonged high hematocrit is stroke. Your blood is more likely to form clots. Bad for the brain, heart and lungs!

I really need to get my blood checked. Have done two cycles on third and have only gotten testosterone checked.

Thanks for the help guys! So chances are its well over 50%?

And my signs are, lerthagy, I went to bed at 7.oo the other night lol and slept 14hrs then the next day had 10.5hrs and still damn lerhagic during the day. Ive had over 9 today and just sitting here I keep yawning. Its not estrogen I normally keep that in check, so I can only think of thick blood being the culprit.
