Play around to see what works best for you. Meal timing has shown to be irrelevant as long as you hit your total cals and macros for the day. Personally, I like to eat every 2-3 hours in a certain time frame (11-12 hours). I don't like to eat before bed because it affects my sleep. I like to eat often too because it helps me feel full throughout the day. Some people swear by IF. I might have to give it a try after this school year when I graduate, but if I have the time, I will stick to what I do now.
