How long to wait to eat after training session?

I hear different opinions on this. After I train I come home and drink a post w/o shake 50 grams optimum whey with a scoop and half of gatorade. Im not hungry for about an hour and a half to two hours after that. Ive been hearing from most that you should eat 40 minutes to an hour after training. When do you think its best to eat after working out?
I think this is individual. After I work out I gulp down a protein shake within 15 minutes of my workout, along with some rice cakes or rice chips. But I know others who have to wait an hour or they will be sick. I wouldn't wait past an hour though.....your muscles need to replenish with carbs and proteins.

As for cardio....I don't worry about it so much. I drink a protein shake within an hour but I don't think it's as important as it is for lifting.

If I were you I would also eat 4 rice cakes along with that protein shake within the hour....preferably half an hour.
