How many hours a week do you work?

Just curious to see how many hours a week everyone works and if your job makes it difficult to find time for the gym. I'm working per diem right now but soon will be working a second shift 40 hours a week with overtime occasionally. Hope it doesn't get in the way of my lifestyle.

I work 40hrs/wk, take 2 graduate classes, and maintain a harem...I still find time for the gym, kiteboarding, and surfing.

But I don't have kids, pets, or a live in nag either.

10 to 12hrs a day. Almost want to switch up careers lol. Luckily I just welded up a whole set of dumbells and bars for my garage for those "hard to make it to the gym" days.

If you find it difficult to make it to the gym and are serious about it, just buy a straight bar with enough weight to meet your needs and slowly progress your own setup.

I was working out hardcore, but I now have three boys under the age of three and went into maintain mode for about a year. Finally started accumulating weights for my own setup and everything is much better now. I benched of the floor until I was able to get a bench, I squatted off buckets and coolers until I was able to get a squat stand, etc. If you are serious about it, make it work.

I spend 40-50 hours a week at work, and another ten hours commuting between three offices. I put my training on my schedule and tell people if they try to schedule me for a meeting when it says NOT IN THE GODDAMN OFFICE, that I won't show up. So I make it to training. I go three on, two off at the gym. "I work too much" is not an excuse. Gym time is quite frankly more important to me than office time, and while I'm not super overt about that, I make it clear that I'm not fucking around when I say "I gotta leave."

If people can say "I gotta go pick up my kids," well, fuck them, I didn't have kids because I know how to not have goddamn kids and I have every right to leave to train if those silly cunts have the right to leave to pick up their kids.

Make it a priority.

I suffer from this dilemma as well my friend. I work 50-60 hours a week and its hard, physical labor. I do the majority of my lifting on the weekends.

It can be difficult, but everyone has their set backs. You just have to push through and focus on your goals.

I used to work as an inground pool installer for about 6 years but then went back to school worked part time and it was never an issue getting to the gym. Im working per diem now in the medical field but Ive got a couple of interviews coming up for full time work. I know Ill make it to the gym and that there arent any excuses. But I'm sure it will be somewhat more difficult.

Last week 80 hrs. Work, let dogs out, workout, eat, feed dogs, fix meals for next day, dishes, laundry, sleep. Repeat.

No one has time they make time. My dads quote but I am sure he stole it from somewhere

Married 3 Kids, schedule looks like this

4:30am - wakeup
5am - gym
6:40am - on bus
8:10- at work
8-pm wrestling
9pm- on bus home
10:30 home (talk to wife and kids sleep)
Rinse Repeat

Saturday 7:30am at gym with wife (mainly just helping her) maybe sneak a few reps in and some cardio

Every 2 or 3 months I will take 2 weeks off to just chill and rest

Im a pilot, so the hours are odd and long. I hate travelling all the time. im a homebody and like to relax and take it easy, but with my job that's never possible. I work about 50 hours a week and fly between 20-30 hours out of the 50.

i still make time for the gym. eod or usually 4 days a week, 2 hours at a time. the hardest part is to get good food at the right time with all the traveling.

Im single right now, so i have lots of time for me. i start grad school in the spring and will also be working, that will be interesting

full time student and work at home depot full time.. i still workout! I just wake up at 5am and hit the gym before anything, everything after is a breeze
