How soon does one have to start cycling if they wish to try their luck at getting apro card? Assume this hypothetical person is under 25 with no lifting experience.

The dope is not the only thing that factors into that equation. The genetics have to be there to start with. I'm not up to date with the current BB's but most of the ones I followed in the 90's had good foundations going into this from a pretty young age.
It isnot as simple as jabbing your ass with some dope and getting fucking jacked. Doesn't work that way unfortunately.

I am aware of this, but it is not wrong to say it is a large portion of the sport that must be taken into consideration for anyone who wishes to attempt to become a pro.

anyway...dude I would be thinking about some smaller goals....I believe rj stated that 1% make it pro....so unless you were born with 18" arms...Id stick to the rivers and streams your use to

I agree with this statement alot of the pros are pros because they have God given size and etc.not to discouragement you or anything though if you believe you can do it then mostly certainly go for it. and yea the tlc quote was a nice touch

Dreamers are dime a dozen. They are on every street corner, church, wall mart.
How about setting a realistic goal.
Set an attainable goal and work your ass off to achieve it.
When you get there raise the bar and reset the goals.
When you can beat the natural womens open class then try the mens.
After that try NPC-when you take the overall at a local show after 6-7 years then come back and ask.

all pro are genetically gifted. everyone who is healthy can do steroids, but out of those people eating right, training right etc. those genetically gifted become pro, the rest is just local bully boys
