ok mega is this correct
i pay these people at labmd and they email me a sheet to bring to blood lab. then blood lab takes blood and mails to labmd then in 5 days labmd emails me results? is test with prolactin needed or just go with the 72.00 female panel

You pay. They email the requisition to you and you bring it with you to the lab. Then you get your results emailed to you.

Getting prolactin is your choice. If you have never run Deca before it might be a good idea -- especially if you are confident you have E2 under control.

Moe, just as Mega said..its piece of cake. I like Labsmd because they show test levels above 1500 so you get an idea of where your at.

i just went to doctor and got blood results from normal checkup. it didnt have everything the labmd does but she did say liver function was bad, and total cholesteral was high at 166 and good cholesteral was to low, bad cholesteral was ok. she told me to come back in 2 months and check it again. is there something i should be doing since these are bad and running a cycle? i have cholesterol meds on hand i can take more of? im only 3.5 weeks into cycle

What is your cycle and what aupplements/ancillaries are you using?

Why would you go see your doctor while on cycle and have her run blood work?

AAS is notorious for impacting your lipids negatively. If it were me, I would have cancelled my appointment and rescheduled for when I was off the cycle.

See a doctor four times a year to just have your lipids checked seems excessive. Are you sure you don't have some medical issues?

As for the supps, I would personally drop them all th ones you listed except for the Fish Oil. And add in NAC while on cycle for your liver issues. You are probably just wasting your money on stuff like Milk Thistle.

yes no medical issues other than the cholesterol. she just takes blood and gives me 3 month prescriptions for chol meds. dam i didnt know that about all the supplements i bought thought i was doing right taking them. but sounds good ill get the nac drop the other shit and get blood work done again at labmd in a month.

Do you have a deficiency that you need the Supps for?

Oh Vitamin D is often a supp that guys need. You can check your Vitamin D levels with a simple lab test.

opps yes she told me to sart taking vit d so i guess that was on the test and was low.
no deciciency i took them all because i was told by someone you need to take them all while doing test to support your organs since test is hard on them. what do you think about taking more cholesterol meds till off cycle? im suprised doctor didnt up my dose she just said do test again in 2 months.

All you need supplement-wise on cycle is for your liver. NAC, Liv.52 and TUDCA can help. I don't really know what other supplements you could take for your other organs. Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of people that probably disagree with me and use lots of supplements.

If you want too learn more, Austinite has a great thread on this topic. I think I may have linked to it in the FAQs thread below in my signature.

I personally would not up the cholesterol meds during your cycle. Yuou will be off the cycle soon enough. Too be honest, I tend to think that the negative aspects of cholesterol meds outweigh the positive aspects. Halfwit has helped me see this. He has some great posts on the subject.

Have you had a Cardiac Calcium Scan to show that you really do need to medicate?

Should of started cycle support a month prior to the cycle.

Get some fish oil asap, it supports healthy lipid profiles and will lower triglycerides. Good for over all heart health, flax oil is good too, a few handfuls of almonds will give you healthy fats as well. Another supplement to use is red yeast rice stacked with coq10, the RYR has a statin in it that helps lipids, stacking coq10 with a statin is always a great idea, the coq10 also helps reverse damage that the cholesterol causes. Niacin is also highly affective for lipids BUT if your liver values are high that can make it a no go as niacin can be liver toxic in therapeutic doses.

Next is diet... What are you eating? That's going to be the biggest deciding factor and all mentioned above won't correct a bad diet. Keep saturated fats low (unless it's coconut/MCT oil), keep you're whole grains up... Lots of oats and whole grain breads, fiberous fruits like apples too. Ultimately a high fiber diet can be really effective. Don't worry too much about actual cholesterol content of food as its been noted more recently saturated fats are a bigger factor. Keep sodium low too when you're cholesterol is high.

Make sure you add in cardio if you're not already. I have no cycling experience but I was able to successfully get my lipids squared away by doing what I mentioned above. I'm talking terrible... My triglycerides were over 400, HDL was 8, LDL was over 200 and I was able to bring it all into optimal range with diet and the supplements I listed. I understand that exogenous testosterone correlates negatively with lipids but you can help it get better.

What is your Sugar and high glycemic carb intake like ? if its on the high side that could negatively effect both cholesterol and the liver (both of your problems).

"new research syncs with decades of data on how sugar causes insulin resistance, high triglycerides, lower HDL (good) cholesterol and dangerous small LDL (bad) cholesterol. It also triggers the inflammation we now know is at the root of heart disease. And fats, including saturated fats, have been unfairly blamed"

I'd have to find some of the articles, but I've seen evidence recently pointing to 'Carbohydrates' and 'Sugars' now being believed to be the root cause of heart disease
