Hows this P/WO shake?

Distilled water 2 scoops eas whey isolate 40 gr. protein, 1 green apple and a table spoon of flax oil.

The last time I asked you guys said two cesseins isn't good slow absorbtion. So Im mixin it with distilled water and the apple should have a good bit of dextrose shouldn't it? My whey powder includes no dextrose what else should I put in to get the dextrose?

Dextrose.......you buy it in powder form. You should be able to get it at any beer or wine making supply store. I get it for just under a dollar/lb. The just weigh it out to figure how much you need to get to your 2:1 ratio. Dextrose - 1 gram carb = 1 gram by weight.
 
I could be wrong but I was always under the impression that your pwo meal should contain protein and carbs only. Any fat intake should be very minimal if any due to it slowing down the absorption of the whey.

You are correct, protein and carbs PWO.........dextrose is all carbs, no fat.
 
which is better: dextrose or maltodextrin? i know one is simple and one is complex with both having a GI at 100 or above. hard to believe a complex carb with a GI of 100 but i read once malto is the hardest carb to convert to fat. i noticed when i eat shitty carbs like low fat or non-fat cookies and shit like that, i just bloat and dont even feel recovered, like those carbs (high fructose corn syrup) doesnt restore muscle glycogen as well as it does liver but dextrose/malto do.
