Hypothalamic secretion

My basic understanding of the production of GH is that the hypothalamus is responsible. It is released in pulses and that release is regulated by GHRH which initiates it and somatostatin which inhibits it. So, we introduce exo GHRH to release more GH. My question is; is there a pep or anything else that has been found effective in the reduction of somatostatin? It would follow that the reduction of somatostatin would also increase GH release. It brings to mind the mechanism of AI's
