I cheated!

I know it is said that when your fat loss plateaus you should enjoy a cheat meal and "shock the body". Well I had my first cheat meal in over three months last night while watching my Patriots beat the shit out of Jax. I went to a Boston Bar, drank like 6 beers and ate fried clams and french fries. My wife was clapping her hands and was like "thank you! nice to see you relax for an evening" and although it tasted pretty good I really do feel like a shithead this morning.

I'll be on the treadmill today for sure
 
im definatly not an advocate against drinking, but beers arent really what they mean by a "cheat meal". When you drink, anything you eat until your body deals with the alochol will be stored most likely as fat.

But like i said...i drink too, so im not advising against it, just making sure you understand how it works:D I usually just have a whey or casien shake at the end of the night before i go to bed, and a lot of water, instead of a meal.

That is a drastic oversimplification of how things work to the point of just being plain wrong.

Sure the body burns alcohol first. But it doesn't just direct all of the other food to the fat cells. All ingested food is metabolized. That fat yankeesuck ate eventually got broken down. It eventually got burned or stored as fat. If it got stored as fat that then is because he had a large surplus of caloric intake....not because he drank alcohol.
 
yes, it was obviously an oversimplification

unless you adjust your normal diet throughout the day, if youre drinking 6+ beers, youre gonna have a caloric surplus lol.

What if 6+ beers is part of your normal maintanence diet. :D

Now I'm just being a smartass. Sorry if my prior post was kind of rough. I should have toned it down a bit. I appologize.

oh yea, and alcohol lowers testosterone, estrogen is respectively higher...also bad for bf.

You shouldn't feel like a shithead... when you hit the treadmill your gonna burn off the calories from the beer;anyway's dude, you don't wan't to make your wife unhappy, enjoy what you have.
 
Thanks Guys but I shoud have mentioned that I am in the first few days of post cycle therapy (pct). Will the clomid/nolva be affected by the alcohol? Also I thought a cheat meal was to have whatever the hell you wanted. I guess alcohol does inhibit metabolization but i didn't think about that plus hadn't had a beer in 13 weeks while on cycle. I will do an hour of cardio on Monday just to make sure.
