i need a post workout that wont keep me cracked out at night...

even when i would train during the day i'd never religiously take a pre workout i never rely on that bullshit. i'm just looking for a small little kick in the ass to give me a bit more energy.. maybe even test base? like water based test so i can do a little slin pin delt shot before a workout?

i train in the nights mostly (between 9 and 11) and taking anything will keep me wired. that includes drinking coffee or a small redbull or anything. lately i've been drinking fruit juices pre workout on the way to the gym for the natural sugar.

any suggestions for a good non-stimulant pre workout? ..
 
If I train late at night I never take anything with a stim in it. No coffee. No energy drinks. Nothing. If I do I can be sure I wont sleep right. I think if your getting in the meals you need throughout the day and staying properly hydrated your training during the late hours shouldn't suffer any.

There is however one Pre workout that I did like that doesn't get you wired (I believe is has NO caffeine) but provided me with a good pump and focus.....BPI PumpHD.
 
MCT oil,, or some other form of medium chain triglycerides, coconut butter
oh no no no i was sick and literally almost shat out and puked out my fucking intestines from eating coconut butter. i am traumatized by that shit.

i will check that out. i remember there was a non stim, no caffeine pre workout back in the day called vasocharge by scivation. by back in the day i'm talking like 08

i like having my pre workout meal an hour and a half before i start training, and that's meal 4 or 5 or 6 (depending). then i'll get back home have a shake with more fruit and thats it

You could even go with just a straight Nitric Oxide booster, something like Nitrix by BSN. Or even just take some Cialis pre workout for a good pump.

are you kidding? i'd end up getting too excited and actually rubbing one out, thus ruining my entire workout. i hardly even fuck my girlfriend before i lift

thanks i'll look into those, i really don't know anything about supplements. in all my 8 years of training all i've bought was whey protein, fish oil, and multi vitamins and i think amino acids a few times. i think everything else is bullshit. every time i've taken a pre workout it's been the dozens of samples i got from expos or from friends. but man... that original jack3d with the 1,3 dimeythl was the bomb

yeah bro it was when i was visiting america, and as you may know in israel 12/6 means the 12th of june NOT december 6th loll, so i got confused, thought it expires on the 12th of june and ate an entire 16oz can in a few hours. the following day and for the next 6 days i could not keep down any food and i was shitting literally every 10 minutes i have never seen anything like it that.
 
Look for synephrine based products. They still have a good pick me up, but also won't keep the more sensitive up all night. PMD used to have some good ones, but I haven't looked for low stim stuff in awhile.

I will second the MCT oil. Just don't take a ton. It's fat, and if you're cycling carbs.. you wouldn't want too much on a high carb day. To be honest though 1tbsp a day for the first week or two is plenty. Any more and you'll likely shit your brains out. Maybe try 1/2 Tbsp 30 minutes before w/o.

It's a thermogenic. You'll know it's there, your body will burn it quick, and will create a little energy in the process. If you're keto, it's amazing how much energy it will make and how good you'll feel with it included into your regimen.

I highly recommend trying MCT oil. I use NOW Foods from amazon. Decent price, good quality.
 
I have no reaction to MCT Oil at all. I've taken multiple tablespoons a day in the past. Right now I'm not using, but never had an issue, even pre-workout. A great way to mix it is to throw it in a protein shake. Put the powder and mct oil in first. Then the water. It makes whatever flavor you have really creamy and rich.
