I need a routine for a beginner (me)

On certain days I bench, and do random tricep work.

On other days I squat and do leg extensions. Then I try and walk back to the car, which is damn hard because the weight room is in the basement, and I have to climb the stairs.

..and then at home, I do random shit.

Okay, so I have no excuses, but shit, believe it or not I've grown tremendously over the past year. A good diet and shitty training will do wonders when you haven't worked out in years.

Just because I haven't gotten my sorry ass out to see pullinbig doesn't mean that the rest of ya'all aren't allowed to offer advice and help. ;)

OK, so since I am somewhat of a 'Pullinbig prodigy' (or protege, I can never remember which is which), i will try and answer this. Also becuase this exact routine, or almost exact, helped me put on 30lbs of LBM last year, and a ton of strength.

Doesn't sound like you need a programme, more like a kick in the arse. Nobody can lift for you. Stop whining like a bitch, go and see PB or pick one of the routines posted by IA or PB or any of the other members that have tried to help
 
inked1: It's only fair if I pay pullinbig something for his help, since training people is what he does for a living. And I said I'm going to get out there. I'm a slow learner and a bit independent. I already insulted myself above for not getting out to see pullinbig yet. I don't need your insults to add, but thank you anyway. But we are in agreement: I need to go see pullinbig, and I expect that I will.

I have picked a routine. Now I'm just trying to understand it.

Looking for clarification if anyone can help some more:

Wide grip flat bench 2 x 6 (index fingers on the rings) the rings are the fancy part, I assume.
hammer grip dbs 2 x 8-12 reps hammer curls?
tricep push downs 1-2 x 8-100reps. (yup 100) shoulder width or wide grip?
db side laterals 1-2 x 10reps light seated or standing? Or maybe it is more like this?
db front raises 1-2 x 10reps light standing or lying down?
pull-a-parts 1-2 x 20reps pulling a band horizonally?

I will say this the simplest way possible. If you don't get your ass over to see PB right away you are retarded. I am a personal trainer that trains 70+ people at a time, and I would kill to spend some time with PB and get advice from him. You have a wonderful opportunity and sounds like you are wasting it.

What he and IA said pretty much summed it up. IF i was that close to PB I would DEFINATELY be trying to learn AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE u're frikken STUPID if you don't take the oportunity, even if u have to pay him :spank:

the best part is if you come train with us a few times or individually you will see some of the top power lifters in the world train. (depends on who's there that day). i get outlifted all the time but i stay my ass right there.

i surely dont know everything but i know what works and what dont. i am conastantly changing stuff up. hell my log shows that.

cmon down mranak. if nothing else come down one day and i can answer these questions you have.
