I need advice

I am 6'0 240lbs. My biceps are 16 1/2in, Chest is 42 1/2in, waist 43in, and calves are 18 in. Im not exactly sure what my bodyfat % is, but its not good. Im 3 years out of High School and after a stint in the military Im doing the college thing. Ill be 22 in 5 days and im slowly watch my body turn into a blob. In high school I ran fullback and played defensive end. Our coach always taught us to EAT, EAT, EAT and that is still with me today. I can eat to the brink of explosion and 30mins later im hungry again. Back then i burned it off on the field and in the weight room, now im turning into a couch potato. I have no friends dedicated enough to go to the gym and train hard with me and other friends who were blessed with the physique of a roman gladiators, and feel that the gym is a waste of time :wtf:! My ultimate question is what is a good begginer weight routine that cuts fat and adds lean muscle. Excersises, Reps, etc... and what can i do about my appetite. Its not like im cramming junk food down my throat, i eat reasonably healthy, but Im still packing on pound after pound. btw...do i have to do cardio or is just lifting a sufficent way of cutting the fat?
 
Why U asking if U have to do cardio?? Sound to me like ur not fully dedicated asking a question like that. Its Balls to the Wall and not holding a fuckin thing back from where I come from. If ur not 100% dedicated from the start, why bother??
 
look cardio isnt my thing! at one point in the military i was running 5 miles a day and hated every fuckin minute of it! i was just askin if its a necessity. I know low weight with lots of reps can produce the same stimulated heart rate as a treadmill. I know i have to stretch, but if cardio can be avoided at all during my transformatinon then i dont want to fuck with it. If it has to be done to get shredded to the bone then so be it. aside from your comments do you have any advice?
 
friendo, even if u take an outside substance it would be fruitless without cardio and super strict diet. i think u know what to do already.

btw, fellas congrats to me and my boy. he's been recruited by the dea (dont worry lol) and asked me to put him on a diet and training program before they're sent for their rigorous training.

with ZERO substances and supplements, he followed my protocol relgiously to the "T" and lost 26lbs in 30 days. If that's not fuckin spetacular then I dont know what is.
Did he break rules? Damn freakin right he did. Puking, dizzyness, near fainting and near crying. Fuck the pussy shyt "oh no, dont over do it. u must eat this" u cant do this. u cant do that". Sometimes the ONLY way is to Break Away.

bottom line, you already recognize your problem. you know the problem. u hate cardio and u love eating.
 
Also in your situation I don think it really matters what kind of weight training you do-you just need to do some period. Diet+training do that for a while 5 days a week. you will shred fat my friend. Then when you hit a plateau-add your cardio. I really dont see you hitting a plateau for a while though.

Also when you cheat-or skip a day- or eat Mcdonalds one day-remember your only cheating yourself.
 
Diet as from what you are saying you are eating way more than you should be. Cardio keep your heart rate at 65% of max for 45mins-60mins. There are other ways but this always leaned me out and is easy on the body. Your not going to loose that fat through just lifting.
 
im affraid diet is a must, cardio is a must and pumping iron is a must.
take a look at this product (supplementmarket.com - Anabolic Xtreme Slim Xtreme) its the best stim and suppres i have used it help me drop a lot of weight, you can still eat the same amount, just smaller portions every couple of hours, go for essential fats rather than tran fats, mix it up with fast and slow digesting carbs, drink loads of water between 3-6 litres a day, if u was in the army u should be able to discipline urself, u know what it requires to maintain a fit healthy lifestyle, use the knowledge that was given to u by the army, surely they didnt just teach u how to blow things up?
as for a workout go for high reps medium weight, if ur coach told u to eat, eat, eat maybe he should have told u what to eat, you might in ur eyes eat healthy but read the label, see whats in it, not sure what the ingridents is research it on google, and find out what is in ur healthy food, sometimes you will be surprised how much shit they they put in it.

trust me he will lose weight just from lifting-only cause he is so out of shape, Im sure after set 2 he would be sweating like a pig.
 
HIIT ... kettleball training ... jumping rope ... weighted walks ... there's a ton of things you can do that are far more effective than 30 minutes on an elliptical trainer or climber.

But it really does sound like it's your diet.

YOu NEED cardio without it forget about it all , you gotta tell your body to do it back a few months ago i went on strict diet and went to gym 2 times a day one to lift and the other for cardio again, i still ate bad like one or two meals outta the weak, but then you get right back on and to it if your dedicated to it it can definetly be done and you can turn yourself around
 
cardio in the a.m....longer the better..keeps your metabolism up all day..Lift 1 hour at night..
Go alone to the gym , you ll hook up with some cool people in the gym. I ve met some of my best friends there......not to mention some of the hottest females, bro...bottom line..DO anything that recquires movement..buy a bike..walk where you can.
It ll take months but your young..take it from an old dude..you can do this. But only you can do this..
 
Aside from my comments regarding Dedication, I have no advice to give to U, others are and will. Without Dedication, diet, cardio, training is useless if ur not committed to doing whatever it takes to accomplish ur goals. Im not flaming nor talking down to U, its called Truth and that strikes a nerve when its true. These cats will help U, but ultimately its up to U.
 
26lb's in 30 days is 99% water loss. he'll gain most if not all back in a few days of normal lifestyle. there is no quick fix... one must dedicate themselves to eating good, clean... cardio... weightlifting... and a lot of sex. this is the only way.


99% of that is water? do u know him personaly to know he has that muchwater to lose? 1% of that was body fat he lost? i'd hate to start using medical terms cause i hate when others use them lol. no bro, he lost fat (im sure some muscle too) and he won't be putting it back on unless he slacks and falls back which i doubt.
 
ABB, you don't need that stuff now. Really, you'll just be stressing your body for no reason. Based on your waist measurement, a lot of the arm, chest, calf is also fat. Also, listen to Scarz.

Cut your calories and especially carbs way down, and you have to do cardio. Although, frankly you're so overweight right now, that by getting the calories and processed/junk carbs, etc. out you can lose 50 pounds w/o cardio, but you'll need it to get into shape and get the BF where you want.

You should set a goal of losing 40-50 pounds in the next 4 - 6 months; then judge where to go from there. The "good" news is that that first big loss should be failry easy if you get your diet and crazy eat till you barf portion sizes in control; empty junk carbs are also a reason you can feel hungry again after stuffing yourself due to the sugar spikes. Then you'll be set to try to get the harder part of getting into shape and losing more BF %;
