I need to lose weight.

I'm 18 years of age, weigh in at about 200 and am about 6' tall. I'm ready to diet but at this point I'm not ready to exercise or lift. I'd like to start off with a diet to shed some pounds and then I'll start exercise after a few weeks. Any suggestions?
 
I know getting started on cardio sucks, but cardio and diet are key. Keep the protein intake up and try to loose the fat without loosing the muscle.

Why are you not willing to exercise??? Typically i suggest someone starts working out before messing with diet. After they've been lifting for a couple months then we revamp their diet.
 
Start moving some weight. Really. If your diet is moderately clean why mess with it until you see what moving a little weight will do for you?
 
If you want to lose weight like your ? said then swim. I gained weight threw lifting everybody does. Swimming will help you lose big time.
 
ok dude i use to be a fat 250lbs now i'm 210lbs. they way i started was with doin cardio. i was so out of shape i couldn't run very far so i would run till out of breath the walk till i thought i could run some more. i increased my distance every week to a little longer run. now i can run 2-3 miles at a time and i love cardio. i also weight train to and its so addictive. i would highly advice doin the exercise first then when you feel comfortable with the working out then work on the diet.
