I no everyone has had this problem!!!!

pull out your old VHS or DVD of pumping ironman, that gets my ass off the couch every time....take any pre-workout supps?

it's not possible to be feelin up to a "full-on" workout everytime u go to the gym... what I like to do is change things up when I'm feeling a down day... I do things like super-setting, compound sets, work two muscle groups instead of one (for example, do a set of back then a set of shoulders... can work for almost any two bodyparts) and if ur really not feeling it just go to the gym EOD for a week, or take a week off... all can be effective... just find what works for u

preworkout I like a couple cups of over-strong coffee, can get me through almost any workout ;)

think about this, if you are on this forum in the first place I'm assuming you've trained for a few years (2 at the least) and have spent a hell of a lot of time dedication and money. You've bought preworkouts, supplements, lots of protein, eaten when you weren't hungry, blown friends off because you have to lift, held yourself back from getting wasted because of your gains, spent a loooot of money on steroids, put your body through this harshness and you wanna quit now? if you quit now all the last few years were for nothing once you lose your muscle. I see this as a lifestyle that I am willing to it commit to forever.

I think of this and this is what helps me when I feel lazy about lifting.

When I'm lacking motivation before a workout I go on youtube and search "bodybuilding motivation" and if bodybuilding is something you like, this will pump you up!

OR....

Take one of gf s kids adderol and stir into my coffee then dip my cigarette in my coke stash, slap on a stop smoking patch and put in a chew..push play on some TOOL..ready to go...wait..this ain t 1988 anymore is it..:)

Bahahahah, thats awesome. But yeah so 1988...Here in the 21st century we grind up our adderall, throw in some pre-workout powder (I prefer 1-MR Fruit Punch) and sprinkle a little coke on top. The fruit punch makes it smell so good if ya know what I mean. That is only if I'm in a rush, if I have time I will mix that concoction above with some BAC and shoot it..

I very rarely miss a day just from not being motivated my conscious wont let me and the times I have I will beat myself up about it.
I had a shoulder injury not to long ago and it killed me not being in there but I'm back to about 85 to 90 percent and more motivated than ever. I remember what I came from and I don't want to go back. The days I'm not feeling it I do as most and hit up some youtube vids, pre-workout supp., music, and that gets me going.

Amen, reading these post are getting me pumped lol

I actually had on of those days today, made it to the gym plugged the earphones in, and one of my heaviest lifting shoulder day, funny how that works out.

If diet is tight and training routine is consistant then sometimes taking a few days off can really be a lot of help. I have made my best gains after a few days rest. More juice isn't always the answer.

think about a some girl you wanna fuck, but she dont want you and shes got a man, not think you gotta beat his ass up but you cant, but you must beat him up in order to get that pussy, think about that and get your panzy ass out the house ya BUM

everybody knows you TAKE the hit to get the girl lol

the only time im unmotivated it those beginning weeks after a cycle, i just lower from six days to four days that way when i have an off day im just counting down the mins till i can get back in the gym

I think "Quit being a pussy." And then I stop being a pussy.

Consistency is more important than intensity, in my opinion. It's better to hit the gym and go through the motions, maybe only hit your main exercise, than it is to skip a workout because you're not feeling it.

Yes taking a day off and allocating time to an activity you do not normal do is a great stress release, when your set so deep into a routine.
