I think my elbow is fucked for good!

I tweaked my mother fuckin elbow doing front raises. I saw the doctor and he said take some time off, but fuck it's been a while!

Anyone have a elbow injury?

How long it take you to recover?

what to you use to help through work outs!

I'm losing mass by the day over here and my buddy said he fucked is elbow too and it's never really healed, which was over 2 years ago! I'm getting a little worried!

Yeah, and ice it as much as possible. Stay away from any pressing movements and tri's for a couple of weeks. Sucks bro, hope it gets to feeling better.

Sup PB, yes I do skull crushers(on a incline bench) and yes I do lots of curls(usually twice a week, front and side hammers, stand up with curl bar, single dumbells, preachers, pretty much i do them all). I do lots of forarm work aswell if that means anything.

That could have something to do with it.

Thats alot of Bi work
 
i dont know what your rep range is for pressing/tri movements, but try going a little higher once you recover...especially dips, skullcrushers, etc.

thats your problem. drop all arm work for a while. esp the skull crushers. i used to have terrible elbow pain as well. i may do culrs 2xyear now. changed my hand placement on squats and dont do direct tri work. no more elbow probs.

whats your hand placement on squats?
 
ecessive arm work is not neccesary heavy rows and heavy benching will take care of that.


If u feel u just have to do skull crushers try to do them in the higher rep range 20-30

I find that my elbows get freaking sore as hell toward the end of my heavy sessions about week 8, this usually means i am due for a break. I apply icy hot each night and it helps alot.

You will prob be fucked for about 6 - 12 months unless you tweak it again.

Sorry pb, didn't mean to ignore you! Umm..I guess I place them about parallel with my feet, and if I go a little heavier then usual I tend to place them a little widder.
