I think this 'steroid conspiracy' thing will affect all of us short term

This is just the kind of high profile ammo needed to crack down on those crazy 'jooce-hedz', at least short term. I hope I'm wrong, but I think at this point in time, we all need to be just a little more careful until this thing blows over.

Thoughts?

Having said that, how long until we can get this new steroid, lol?

they said its a relative of tenbolone, anyone have anymore info on the chemical make up of this wonder drug.

its just a matter of time before they develope something else. Its so retarded to think that olympic athletes are not on something. It's what keeps the olympics popular. new records being broken means more ratings. I think olympics would turn a blind eye if they could. after all sports in general and the olympics are not really about the sheer thrill of competition. they are about money ratings and how much profit can be made. If every thing stayed the same and no records were brocken, no one would watch. also there would not be as much money funnelled into research and there would be way fewer athletes. Most people do not have the time to train on that level unless they have insentives like money. If athletes start running 10+ hundred meter dashes again who is going to care. Its such a hypocritical arguement. Fuck those olympic dudes who cares. I hope the next olympics are big fucking flop. maybe that will help change people's un-warrented misconseptions of steroids. maybe people will wake up and realize that what they think is true is a lie. Maybe people will not be so brainwashed. Its so stupid screw every body who ever said steroids were "evil" and they have no place in sport. they are what defines modern sport. not super new understanding of nutrition or weight lifting techniques. you can only go so far with those. I almost wish everybody would get busted so that nobody would have any thing to say to any body except its all the rage and everybody is doing it. People are so blind its unbelievable. think about it would you do steroids if it meant money and fame? fuck ya you would. And so would most people. Dind't ben johnson say that 90 % of track athletes have taken or are on steroids? what ever who cares I'm ranting. I guess I have to agree with Tx longhorn for now keep your nose clean until this passes over. And maybe with time this could benefit the image of steroids, or not.

if steroids were legal everyone would benifit. medical community, gov't taxes, research and development, and last but not least, us because we could get better gear.

Performance enhancing drugs will never be eliminated as there will always be new cutting edge drugs created which cannot be tested for immediately. I also believe the advent of the internet and the anonyminity (did I spell that right?) it creates will in time make it easier for "recipies" and sources to be shared. Ten years ago, there were no underground labs (at least that I know of), so I can only imagine where we will be in the future.
Sports are a multimillion dollar business to the top players alone. Compensated as such, I believe few people would decline the opportunity to "cheat" if given the opportunity and belief they would not be detected. Moreover, is it really cheating if everyone else is involved in one form or another. I saw one statistic (not claiming the validity) that some 90% of olympic atheles (figure may be off) have used some sort of performance enhancing drugs.
Finally, is it not ironic that the same media that has popularized sports to such a degree as to make multi-million dollar salaries commonplace wonders how such activity could take place? I think so
