Ok I know diet...But cardio say 45mins / day in the am. How long am I looking to shed to get down to 12% or close. Also what are some pointers or some proven fat burners. I took ephedrine but my BP shot up. I have taken xenedrine no ephedra. But Im sure they be better out there. Thanks to all.....

What kind of test did you do? If it was just measurments then those a re pretty inaccurate. As are those things you stand on. Calipers are the way to go for do-it-yourself.

I would recommend EC :)

My new handy dandy digital calipers said I was fat as hell bro. 25% It was more than that on my chest level. I think Im in fukn denial. I have to fix this problem ...

i did a 3 point test with calipers at the gym. chest, ab, and thigh. and a second 3 point test. i got 6.1% and when i questioned this, the guy said there is a 1.5% margin of error in either direction.

Quite possible that you actually DO have 25%. Not trying to be mean or anything, but the average BF% in the country is something like 23-27%, for males.

If you LOOK lean, that's what I'd worry about. I have the opposite problem, see. I used to be exceptionally fat (try 35% on for size), and now when I look in the mirror (even when I was down to 9% last fall) I still see that 35% fat, regardless of how much I actually carry. In your case, I'd worry more about what you see when you look in the mirror, whereas I'm exactly opposite - I need to see numbers because I can't see myself.

All in all, don't worry about it, just keep up the diet and cardio.

Are you only using three skinfold sites? Which ones are you using?
When I test peoples bodyfat using calipers, for men I use six skinfold sites. To get your fat percentage are you using a percentile chart or an actual formula?

I just took three, outer chest, abdomen a little to the right side, and thigh/quad. Then took the avg....I am a little heavy so its probably right. But looking at myself I may just be used to seing my fat ass and dont feel so fa unno ? So I started cario this morning....I had a problem in my leg so I am about to post that now...

Get someone educated to do the test. I feel a 3 test is relatively accurate on my body, but I first got my set of calipers about 8 years ago, so I've used them for awhile.

The more sites, the better - which unfortunately requires a second person.
