Impotent - how long for trt to work

I've been shut down hard for a few years now. I have no libido, impotence all mental torture etc...

I was prescribed Test cyp injections at 125mg a week. this is my fifth week and although the mental symptoms are getting better, I still can't get an erection. Does anyone know how long test cyp takes to work?

test cyp, according to the literature available, takes 2 to 3 weeks to work...its a long ester..i get it prescribed also for very low test levels....

im not saying you should do this by any means, but i supplement my test shots, one extra per week...my doc is cool lets me administer the shit myself....but we all are different you know...

plus im a novice, im just tellin you what i found out about cyp, and what i do for me...my sex drive is crAZY my fiance loves my Dr. now....:3some:

how bout some proviron?? or levitra....doc gave me a scrip for ed too, dont use it tho

whats your estrogen levels at? If they are high that could be your problem with ed.

did your doc put you on an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) as well? also are you taking Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) with the test?

I'm having my blood drawn next week so I'll know the results. The doc hasn't prescribed me an Aromatase inhibitor (AI). I've been taking Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) myself. 250 iu every monday and thursday.

Do I need an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) at that dosage? Maybe the problem is estrogen. I've only just started feeling better mentally.

If you are taking cyp +hcg and no Aromatase inhibitor (AI) your estrogen is through the roof which is why. Call Maximus.

GIVEN MY PERSONNEL AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE, I THINK IT'S FAIR TO SAY THAT YOU SHOULD NOTICE LIBIDO INCREASE WITHIN 2 WEEKS ALONG WITH MORE ENERGY IN ABOUT THE SAME TIME. BUT FELLAS.... YOU GOTTA UNDERSTAND.... THERE IS NO MAGIC BULLET. IF YOU GET ON testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), DONT TRAIN, DONT DIET, AND EAT LIKE SHIT, I PROMISE YOU WILL BE EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED WITH YOUR LACK OF PROGRESS. IF YOU CANT COMMIT TO YOU, THEN DONT COMMIT TO ME OR ANYONE ELSE. IM IN THE GAME TO CREATE SUCCESS STORIES.:dance2:

As mentioned before, if you are not receiving a prescription for an Aromatase inhibitor (AI), the increase in estradiol could be what is causing your erectile dysfunction. You mention that your mental symptoms are improving, does that include an improvement in the libido department? If testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) is improving libido but not erectile problems, you might want to look for physical factors. Degeneration of the vascular system in the penis such as a venous leak is common in up to 60% of Erectile Dysfunction disorders. Also other things such as diabetes or high blood pressure could be at play.

Do you have your lab reports you can post up? Things other than estradiol could interfere with erectile function such as high levels of prolactin.

SO jows6 98% of people won't see an spiking increase in estrogen at 125mg a week. I'd have the doctor increase the dose to 250-300 mg a week. Targeting 800 is good.

maybe his estrogen levels were high to begin with. Therefore the xtra test conversions will just make matters worse.
