injecting with slight pip ?

Hey guys.. Its been 6 days I last injected on my right glute. And I have a small amount of pip still since I do about 2.5ccs of oil. If I inject with a small amount of pip is there any risk of infection or other issues? (assuming everything is sterile and clean)
 
I don't think it would be a smart idea to pin it again. probably should just let it heal. find a different area to inject.

oh shit, I have dreaded this day forever... I might have to pin quads tomorrow... virgin muscle area... fuck me.. Can I do quads with 1inch needle? I don't have 1.5

yeah. just make sure you're doing it properly. look it up online where you want to pin, outter quad really means like, OUTTER.

no problem... i'm sure some of the guys will have better tips... i've never done a quad injection. and since i'm a girl pinning isn't as often as guys have to so, I've just stuck to glute.
 
I actually love injecting quads. Its painless and there is alot of area to work with. Many different spots on the outer quad that are good for injecting. Its easy to keep a steady hand and reduce pip. I did inject in the teardrop muscle once and will never do that again.

Bahahahaha. It looks so big and juicy, how can a needle NOT like being in there. I think many of us have made that mistake LOL. :spin:

Tips for quad injects:
1. Measure one hand width down from your hip and one hand width up from your knee.
2. Pull the skin towards the center of your leg (Z-track method) and do not release it until you pull the needle out.
3. Make sure you are injecting in the upper-outside part of the quad. Don't hit the top (nerves) or directly into the side (iliotibial band).
4. Leave the pin in for a few seconds after you've injected all the oil.
5. Pull the pin out and release the skin you've been holding.
6. Apply pressure for 15-30 seconds. DO NOT RUB.

It might help to take a nice hot shower beforehand to relax the muscle. DO NOT flex (I'm sure you knew this) as that's going to make your leg really cranky with a piece of steel in it. You can take an ibuprofen afterwards to help minimize swelling, but it's not necessary. I also wouldn't do it on leg day. ;)

For me personally, every day is leg day and I pinned on workout days so often times I'd squat and deadlift or squat and powerclean. After the first week it never bothered me anymore.
 
you should probably work that muscle group you just darted because, the next day is when you get the PIP. So if you pinned your delts, or your legs for example, you should probably hit them that day because, in most cases your PIP happens about 12-24hrs later. Who wants to lift and avoid hitting that muscle group with PIP? I sure as fuck wouldn't..
If you got great gear, you'll most likely not get PIP.
 
Fuck quads if you fuck up pick a wrong spot or dont have a steady hand you will be crippled lol im done with quads I never know how its gonna turn out. Delts and glutes for me

but if you're a real man, you'll find other places to pin like, chest, rear delts, lats, traps, hey! maybe even abs LMAO and oh! don't forget calves!

Well, pip is an inflammatory response and exercising that muscle causes more blood flow to the area, causing more inflammation. I don't see a problem once the muscle is used to injections, but as a virgin muscle - I'd try to minimize any potential swelling, especially to the legs. :)
 
You're right to both points... But we all know there are crazy people out there who have pinned or actually pin their calves

Very very helpful, literally just pinned my outer upper thigh after reading this and it was painless, it took me like 4 mins before I poked because I kept looking at the needle and back at my thigh over and over again, but I finally just said fuck it and bam! Went In like land of the lakes
