INJection Speed!! Do you go fast or slow!?

My first time i injected i used a plain needle with nothing in it to see if i could actually inject into my glutes.
The 2nd time i injected into my glutes i hit a nerve and i didn't know until it felt like i was at the dentist.
Dumb mistake. Go slow

How about you guys? Any problems in-counted when injecting? slow/fast?

I go slow. I hit a nerve doing a quad inject and the pin almost shot out of my leg and was just hangin on by the last layer of skin - weird shit.

I push the needle in slow untill it's all the way in then pull it back a little to see if any blood comes into the syringe , then inject.. I find it hard to get the plunger back to aspirate so Im hoping that pulling the needle out a little does the same job.. I inject slow.. Did about 1.3ml into my right quad this morning which is the first injection that has hurt almost immediately.. Strangely , it was only after removing the needle that I noticed a little blood in the syringe but not getting worked up about it , although 7 hours on and it's hurting pretty bad..

Im going to try biceps next with a slin pin..

I just jam it in for the most part. I don't know what it is but I almost always bleed when I inject in the glute, even in the top outer quadrant. Hence I just inject it right into the blood stream...lol. I push the needle in as fast as possible but that takes a while.

Something went wrong there!!
Your injecting the needle all the way down and then bringing the needle back a few mm's i don't think does the same job as plunger because there is no suction (blood)

I was thinking the same but from what I gather , if you go into a blood vessel the blood squirting out will fill the needle and show in the syringe.. I have the plunger set back a little before I push the needle in so there's some space with the oil for any blood to show.. Im not 100% sure if that is right but have seen it mentioned on threads that some people said they just pull the needle back a little to aspirate..
In the previous injection I did , Im sure I was scratching away at the muscle while trying to work the plunger back but wll try and work it out before I do my next pin..
